  • "The property was as listed ,clean comfortable , well equipped and large enough for a family."

My only minor criticism would be that there is no dishwasher which is only personal preference. The property is in a great location , quiet with lovely coastal walks on the doorstep. There is a bus stop near by where you can catch a bus into Newquay or into Padstow. Another point to mention is that finding the property is a little tricky because you can not see it from the road, clearer directions for the final part of the journey would be fab eg if you are approaching coming up from Watergate bay then turn right onto the unmade road immediately before the big blue house on the right hand side of the road and of course turn left just after coming down into Watergate bay. We had no difficulty parking our large car in the allocated space at the rear of the property although it is noted that it may not be suitable for all cars. A lovely property overall and we had a fab week .

Thank you for your feedback. We have since amended the parking information and the directions as you enter the village, and added the what 3 words reference for those that use it! Best wishes, The Owner Relations Team Property Owner

  • "Very relaxing stay at Hebaska."

Beautiful family cottage that felt very homely. Excellent location. The folder on arrival was very detailed and the short walk to the beach is stunning. Would highly recommend a stay here. No issues with parking or finding the property. Fully equipped kitchen and also baby items such as travel cot and high chair that made the stay stress free. Only thing that maybe is a personal preference would be for a firmer mattress on the double bed as it was very soft! You will not be disappointed with a stay at this cottage.

  • "Lovely cottage, very nice location."

Feels very homely. Bed mattress was a bit troubling for a bad back, needed to add spare duvets to lie on. Kitchen very well equipped Heating was a bit of a mystery but the week warmed up so didnt need in the end. Difficult to find from the online directions - the ones in their handbook in the cottage were spot on! Smart TV was nice addition but the internet was not man enough for the job. Parking a bit tight due to builders across the road

  • "It was great, but we have two small suggestions that we personally think might make life easier for future guests."

    1. Clearer directions for the final leg of the journey to the cottage once we turn onto the Tregurian Road, as you can't see the cottage from the road. 2. An instruction booklet or some information on how to use the oven - we had to try and find the make of the oven online and download PDF instructions. Even then, the PDF was a "quick start" guide and wasn't very clear.

  • "First off the positives."

The cottage has a sea view!! Why don’t you state this in the ad? It would be a great selling point. Also my daughter unfortunately had food poisoning while we were there and the holiday management company were brilliant in terms of clean bedding and duvets. Thank you. Negatives / the directions to the cottage are woefully inadequate. It’s off by a fair bit and at one point we started to wonder if the cottage actually existed. Even the “what three words” reference was incorrect by about 0.5 mile. The correct reference is ///unit.wiggling.tornado This takes you to the parking space to the rear of the cottage. We found it by pure chance after driving around for 20mins. It doesn’t have a dishwasher, I realise it doesn’t state this in the ad but I think nowadays it’s a given there would be one. I think for us we’d have preferred this over the washing machine. Aside from that we would revisit.

Thank you for your comments. We are unsure where you got the what three words reference from, as it is not stated anywhere in the information. We will look into the correct one and consider including it. Thanks again for taking the time to leave feedback. Property Owner

  • "The car parking, You need a car that's high off the ground for parking at rear of the house and the highlighted areas on map for parking out the front isn't that easy to get a space."

Maybe a little more time spent on the cleaning of the property to get into corners a bit more. The only thing that let it down was the separate toilet from the bath/shower and sink, if the toilet had a small sink it would have been near enough spot on for us, didn't need to take a thing with us it was all supplied which was great, plenty of dishes/cutlery/cooking utensils all you need was like being home from home. Folder with loads of advice and places to go and eat/beaches/shopping, We would recommend doing the walk to the beach well worth it especially going for a walk when sun coming down one of the best views we have ever seen.

Thank you for your feedback. The description of the parking has been amended on the website to reflect this. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have also passed your cleanliness comments onto the cleaner. Thanks again and hope you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "We had the most wonderful time, relaxing in Cornwall."

The Covid outbreak and a national lockdown, have curtailed our holidays. It was great to get back to some kind of normal. Hebaska is a beautiful little gem, situated less than 1 mile from the beautiful Watergate Beach. The house is just delightful, well equipped comfortable and well equipped. The sofa and beds are extremely comfortable and just what you need after a long day exploring on the beach. If I were to recommend anything, it would be maybe to reconfigure and renew the bathroom, maybe installing a really good, strong shower. Otherwise the whole property is excellent.

  • "Very good automated communication."

The property was very clean and had just about everything you could think of inside. Well equipped and very cosy! Nice and close to watergate bay and some very good coastal walks nearby. I had one issue when trying to locate the property - putting the postcode into google maps took me about half a mile down the hill (towards watergate). Using Apple maps got me to the right location.

  • "The cottage was extremely comfortable and very well equipped."

We have two points to criticise: the “beautiful sea views” are from the upstairs bedroom only, not from downstairs and not from the garden; the lane at the back of the cottage was so rough and muddy that it was impossible to access the allotted car space. It was not too much of a problem as we parked on the road at the front. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
