  • "We have stayed in Tresow before and our week there this time did not disappoint!"

The house is well maintained, clean and very comfortable and having 3 bathrooms and 2 seating areas is a real bonus. There is a lovely garden with outside furniture which we made use of as the weather was unusually warm and sunny and driving to the local beaches is easy. There was a generous pack of essentials on arrival which was very welcome. Thank you for another wonderful stay.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed another stay at the property and its surroundings. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back again in the future - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "Fantastic house."

Clean, fresh, equipped in a lovely way but also a highly efficient arrangement with three bathrooms containing wash basins, loos and showers etc; utility room, two sitting rooms with comfy furniture, big landing, the works. Great garden, ample parking. Could have one family with lots of children, two families with several children or, as in our case, 7 adults down for a family wedding. Each arrangement would work perfectly, no problem. To return to my first observation, we have stayed at many self- catering properties over the decades and this seemed the most clean, fresh and well maintained thus far. Moreover, we have sometimes paid a lwhole ot more for a lot worse! Finally, a generous and really helpful supply of immediate essentials and treats greeted us on arrival. So impressed with Tresow.

Thank you for your lovely comments, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay for such a lovely occasion as a family wedding. We do hope to welcome you back in the near future. John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owners Property Owner

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tresow."

Plenty of room for the children to play and run round. Similar to other feedback, my 6ft4 husband kept walking into the low hung lights but other than that, fabulous holiday house.

  • "Great house."

Comfy and well provisioned. Well stocked including the Ikea highchair, toys, books for adults and kids, travel cot, jugs for Pimms, teapots, BBQ stuff, plastic crockery. Would suggest bringing travel blinds, especially for the twin room which has lovely blackout curtains on one window and a privacy blind on the other. Not a house for tall people- light fittings very low. Rubbish collection is unclear - ignore the book and follow the bins. ours was collected on a Friday. Maintenance needed on the toilet overflow pipe and the back door is quite stiff. Would thoroughly recommend staying here, and walking to the 2 brewerys on the industrial estate for drinks, tastings and pop up food, but also grabbing home made readymeals from the pityme inn on your way back.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay, and that the property suited your needs well but are sorry to hear that you experiences so maintenance issues, your comments will be raised to our maintenance team. • "The house was fab!"

There did seem a bit of a leak coming from side of the house from a drain. It was not major but water maybe from upstairs bathroom onto the ground level? Might be worth checking. Thanks for a fab stay and house worked really well for us and our friends who came for a few nights. Thanks

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back anytime in the future. We will keep an eye on the leak so thank you for raising that to us. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "Good holiday cottage, which fitted our needs very well."

Being at the end of the access road gave us ample parking without blocking anyone else. Clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious. Three minor irritations: It was initially frustrating to bring our own sheets, particularly as that requirement was not well highlighted in the listing. I recognise that it is a feature of covid times, but we had to scratch around looking for the right sizes just before we came. We couldn't find instructions for the cooker oven, and we had almost given up on it and thought it was broken until one of us accidentally pressed the right sequence of buttons to stop the clock flashing. We asked to book a 2 day extension which was quickly accepted by the owners, but sorting out the payment took a lots of calls. Sykes twice lost my call in their phone system, so I spent many minutes on hold until I eventually gave up.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconveniences caused by these issues. Due to the takeover from Sykes Cottages, it has made communication channels very difficult to maintain and at times we have not been able to maintain the level of communication and customer service as we would like. When all the new systems are set and in place these should return to the levels we aim for. We hope you enjoyed your stay regardless of these and would love to welcome you back in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "We love staying at Tresow and have been coming for several years."

This time we had a problem with rear door locks being jammed. But the John Bray service engineer came almost immediately and freed the patio door and then the back door lock after a bit of coercion. We were all a bit puzzled.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your stay. We're very sorry that you had to experience these issues during your stay but thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we sorted them for you. Your comments have been passed on to the team at John Bray Cornish Holidays. We hope to welcome you back to north Cornwall in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner.
