The property

A spacious, detached cottage situated on the outskirts of the old market town of Camelford, near the panoramic North coast of Cornwall.

Access to the town is within a a three-minute walk down a grassy lane straight from the garden, ideal for an afternoon stroll.

Valley View is ideal for a larger family or groups of couples and friends with a quality feel throughout.

The open-plan living room boasts large sofas set in front of a woodburning stove, perfect for those wintry evenings.

Open up the sliding doors on a warmer day and head out onto the decked balcony with your morning coffee, then down onto the lawned garden to stretch your legs.

A dining area overlooks the garden and luscious green valley.

There is a well-equipped fitted kitchen with adjoining utility housing a washing machine and in addition to the first floor bathroom is a cloakroom.

Finally, the ground floor is complete with a snug, where the children of the group can take themselves off for fun and games.

The wooden, spiral staircase climbs up to the first floor, where you can rest your head in a choice of three double bedrooms, with the large master king-size boasting an en-suite shower room and views looking out over Camelford.

The modern family bathroom offers a lovely freestanding bath for long hot soaks after a venturesome outing along the South West Coast Path.

Camelford has some good Cornish pubs offering food, plus the town has individual shops, cafes, takeaways, a leisure centre and a park with children's playground.

With the superb beach at Trebarwith Strand only a 10-minute drive away and the delightful villages of Tintagel, Boscastle and Port Isaac, as well as Bodmin Moor within reach, Valley View is perfect place for a family holiday.

The old market town of Camelford is located close to Cornwall's north coast and is ideally situated for exploring the wild country of Bodmin Moor and the high cliffs, hidden coves, fishing villages and surfing beaches that populate this beautiful area. The southwest coastal path is a year round attraction and the surrounding villages and hamlets harbour a wealth of country inns and restaurants. The nearest beach to Camelford is Trebarwith Strand which offers both surf for the more adventurous and safe rock pools for the younger members! Truly wonderful and only around five miles away, it is perfect for a day by the sea and is also dog friendly. Nearby Wadebridge has a vibrant shopping centre and the Camel Trail, while Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, Port Isaac, where Doc Martin is filmed and Tintagel can all be reached in less than 30 minutes.
