A cheerful friendly Paul greeted us on arrival showed us round and advised us on bit bobs about the property and the local area. Property is immaculate and bigger than the photos show. Every thing you need in the kitchen is provided. Quiet countryside setting, birds chirping, cows mooing, even a cockerel to help the country ambience. The garden well maintained and very dog friendly, quirky features and a trickling stream. St Just not far far to walk. We recommend trying the seafood chowder in the Kings Arms (Had it three times between us) Drog Penn is ideally located to explore this Cornish peninsula, by car and by foot. The Tregeseal Stone Circle being an ideal morning dog walk. Thank you Chrissy &Paul we’ll be recommending this place to our friends.

There was a very warm and cosy feel to it and the natural sounds from the birdsong, the little stream, the cattle over the way and the rain on the windows make for a very relaxing week! Oh and the bed, slept like a log! Xaffie our dog was especially welcome and there is a fully enclosed garden to the side of the building, large enough for even the biggest of dogs to stretch their legs. The cottage was immaculate and everything we needed was there, the kitchen especially. The garden area was fantastic for our two dogs as everywhere was fenced off so no escaping. It was situated at the end of a narrow lane and was lovely and quiet and secluded, but within easy reach of St. Just itself and and everywhere else further afield. It was an ideal holiday home with everything inside being brand new. We would definitely go again and would highly recommend to anyone who would be interested. It was such a wonderful find and we hope the owners do well for themselves in the future as it would be well deserved. Top class 10 out of 10. The property

Drog Penn is a studio-style detached cottage in Tregeseal, which rests on the outskirts of St Just, within the Penwith Heritage Coast Nature Reserve (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).

Set over a single storey and sleeping two guests, Drog Penn is an inviting setting for your next getaway to Cornwall, within easy reach of Penzance and St Ives.

Step into the property and into the studio-style open-plan living space, with a wooden double bed, a living area with a blue leather reclining sofa making a welcoming place to watch some television, and an amply-equipped kitchen area where you can rustle up an evening meal to enjoy round the dining table after a long day out exploring.

Outside, there is parking for two cars on the gravel driveway, and an enclosed garden to the side with lawn for your furry friends to enjoy running around, and furniture for yourselves to enjoy a morning coffee in the fresh country air.

Just a short walk away is the charming and vibrant town of St Just, where you can peruse a selection of shops and grab a tasty treat from the award winning Warrens Bakery (the oldest Cornish pasty producer in the World), fish and chip shop, pub or one of several cafés․ There is also a well stocked Coop for your groceries․ You will also find renowned artist Kurt Jackson's Gallery.

A short drive takes you to the coast where you can enjoy the sandy beach at Sennen Cove (ideal for surfing) and the pebbled beach at Porth Nanven, Botallack Mine (Unesco World Heritage site), Cape Cornwall with its Golf Course, Porthcurno and the Minnack Theatre.

In the opposite direction you can explore the port town of Penzance, which has plenty of amenities to keep you busy, as well as a lovely promenade with views of Battery Rocks and St Michael's Mount, as well as a bustling harbour, a train station and an art gallery.

For an exciting day out, head towards Lands End, Porthcurno Mousehole, Nanjizal beach just to name a few․ The entire area was used as film locations for Poldark due to its natural unspoilt beauty and its mining heritage.

Also in driving distance is the popular town of St Ives, which is known for its great surfing water and immaculate beaches, as well as home to many great museums and art galleries including the famous Tate Art Museum.

Drog Penn is a well-located base for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer.
