  • "We had a very comfortable stay at Cedar."

It was a very well equipped property and had everything we needed for a lovely week's break. It was great to have a cot and high chair provided for our baby too. The property was located in a very peaceful setting and was around 25mins to either the north or south coast and in reach of many lovely places to visit. It was clean, comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the little touches provided. The host was friendly and very helpful when we contacted them. We'd happily recommend Tregullon Holidays.

  • "We were absolutely delighted with Cedar Lodge."

It had everything we could possibly need. Great views, quite secluded and quiet, with plenty of garden game space away from other lodges. Although local lanes are narrow for a mile or so, we were within easy reach (abouth 30 mins) of both the North and South Cornish Coasts. Extremely comfortable with friendly owners, quickly available if and when required. All the utensils with milk and cream tea to welcome us and a little good-bye gift of chocolates was another nice touch. Overall, one of the best places we've stayed anywhere in the UK. We would go back.

Nestled in a lovely quiet location with easy access to both the north and south coast areas which are within 20 to 30 minutes drive away. Our hosts, Jill & Dave, live on site and were most welcoming which made us feel like this was a home from home. Very nice and relaxing stay.

  • "Perfect touring base, quiet location, unobtrusive, very hospitable hosts."

From before our holiday began, Jill and the family were the perfect hosts who offer a delightful manner, have time to chat and are keen to help from the very outset to ensure you settle in well from the start of your holiday. Their ten years of experience running the business as a very cohesive team is clearly evident. We spent many relaxing hours sat on the very peaceful, sun drenched terrace and found Cedar Lodge to be furnished to a good standard, it was very clean and well equipped. The washing machine, fridge, clothes dryer and dishwasher looked very new as did the pans, cutlery and crockery. There always was plenty of hot water for showers and washing up etc. The crisp cotton sheets on our comfortable beds gave all our party a restful night and there was more than enough supplies and quality thick clean towel stocks in the laundry store. Having contacted the team beforehand, we arrived expecting only three not four cream teas on arrival os one of our adult party members is Coeliac gluten intolerant. We were delighted to find a fourth Coeliac scone waiting on our arrival, a very thoughtful touch we thought …… and paired with clotted cream and locally made preserve we felt at home straight away ! Our concerns re supporting my Mums limited mobility was easily accommodated as was our request for a zip link adaptation for the second bedroom. Jill was very quick to offer her personal attention in advance to be available when we arrived to help relocate the wardrobe in their bedroom if more room was required….what more could we ask for? Following a locals recommendation, we really enjoyed a meal on our second Tuesday night listening to the “Boscastle Buoys” sea shanty evening at The Napoleon Inn in Boscastle and the Camel Trail Tea room was very enjoyable indeed. We marvelled and returned to all three of St Agnes beaches fora paddle and swim, especially (Chapel Porth) bay with its “Hedgehog” ice Cream treat. East and West Portholland beaches were the Cornwall that I came looking for, Fowey was a delight on every level (from Hanson Road viewpoint over the bay to the gentle stroll from Caffa Mill to the Fowey Rook). Other highlights were; Our walk around Padstow harbour that was a true delight as was the Helford River Boat trip, the Charlestown harbour, our walk to Tavern Beach at St Mawes, and the Rest A While Tea Garden at Hawke Cove (no parking nearby) was a very, very special experience.

The booking of the lodge was easy and the communication was great. On arrival the welcome received and assistance offered was brilliant. The lodge exceeded our expectations and had everything you could need for a break away. The grounds around the lodge was also perfect for enjoying the sunshine, having a BBQ and having fun playing games with the children. I would highly recommend this lodge.

Eden project is only 25 mins away. We spent a lot of time outside in the lovely garden area with seating and bbq. We met Thomas the family car who is just gorgeous. All in all this holiday was exactly what we needed. A big thanks to Jill for the cream tea on arrival. Wonderful

Jill and family were very welcoming and friendly. The cream tea was a nice touch too. Very central to coastlines and inland activities. An ideal spot for a lovely, varied holiday, even when the weather is not so kind! Would prefer not to recommend, as we would prefer to keep it secret!
