"Its not often that you come across a real gem, but our stay at Bayview was just that, a true home from home stay."
There is everything you would need and more, even a mega dot to dot for them less than sunny days. The views from the front bedroom windows across Watergate Bay with Newquay in the distance are amazing, even better as the sun sets on the horizon in the evening. The weather was mixed being there in late March, but the home was always warm and cosy on our return due to the app controlled electric heating. As you may have guessed from this review we had a great stay at Bayview and will look to return again.

Super location.
Bayview was an ideal holiday home for us, spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location of the property was perfect, offering easy access by car to a good number of fabulous beaches. Great communication from the host, Heather. All in all, quite superb. We would recommend a stay at Bayview.

"Great Property in a great location."
We have stopped in several different properties in Cornwall but this one is definitely the best. All the others have felt distinctly like holiday cottages but Bayview feels like going to your own home.
Great kitchen, comfy bed, powerful shower and a nice enclosed area to the back for the dogs. High speed internet is also a nice touch.
We will definitely be back

"A wonderful, well equipped and stylish cottage in a fantastic location."
Just a short walk and you are at Watergate beach with beautiful coastal walks. Seaview from the lounge and 2 front bedrooms and lovely countryside view from the back bedroom. Car parking was no problem at all. Modern facilities and lovely decor in the cottage. Absolutely loved it.

A real credit to the owners. Cosy…a real home from home. Everything I possibly needed was available in the house. Watergate beach is one of many features which my two dogs loved and enjoyed exploring too…they were both exhausted every time we went there.

"We loved the property."
It was lovely and clean. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you need. Lovely touch with the cream tea on arrival. Lovely views out to sea.
The location of the property was perfect. Just a short walk down to the beautiful Watergate Bay, lovely long beach. There were a few bars open. We visited The Beach Hut a few times for drinks, perfect location to sit and chill and watch the world go by.
Just by the property is a bus top, the bus takes you along the coast from Padstow to Newquay, so perfect if you fancy going on a walk and getting the bus home.
We really did have a fantastic stay and we really hope we can go back before too long.

"Brilliant holiday home!"
We could not have asked for somewhere better!!!!
We absolutely loved the location… 2 min drive to watergate bay beach, recommend Wax for an easy family meal. Emily Scott food was lovely and view fantastic (but service less than ideal for the standard of restaurant), we didn’t try the Beach Hut as it was fully booked but I take that as a good sign as was Catch Seafood in the village of Mawgan Porth.
The holiday home had sea views and we watched the sun gone down most evenings.
Everything had been thought of in this house, super dog friendly with extra blankets to protect the comfy sofas from the dogs, a stair gate to keep dogs downstairs etc.
Sofas and Beds super comfy, kitchen and bathrooms very modern and clean. Garden was small but perfect for our needs. Wi-Fi, tv and living space perfect for a family of 4!
Some reviews talk about the parking… yes it’s a little tight but we managed to park an XC90 everyday with no issue! There is plenty of swing space and as the parking area is off the main road you can easily take your time if you are worried!

The smaller double room does have an en-suite but only a sink and toilet. Other than that the property is beautiful.

"We all loved the place."
It was beautiful, clean and nice! We didn't want to leave and the back garden with the BBQ really made our holiday that extra special. The view and location was fantastic. The parking could be a bit better but we didn't have a problem as no one was in the place next door to us.
Having unlimited WIFI and being pet friendly was the icing on the cake for all of us (Especially the WIFI. Having 3 teenage kids saved me and my wife's sanity lol) We will be back next year that's for sure thank you.

"It was a lovely holiday, the property had everything that we wanted and needed."
The owner was very responsive on the end of the phone for any questions we had. Parking can be tight but the neighbours are lovely and very helpful. Cleanliness on arrival was brilliant. Open plan Dow stays makes it feel v. spacious
Perfect location for the surfing beaches or walking with dogs, coastal path just a short walk away.
I would happily recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the area.

"Perfect home from home for our weeks holiday."
Well equipped with everything you could possibly need including scones, tea, coffee and milk in the fridge upon our arrival.
Easy to find and parking clearly marked (maybe a little tight if you have a big car) . Garden tidy and very secure for dogs of all sizes. 3 minute drive to Watergate Bay Beach (parking is free from 1st November to 1st April). Beach is dog friendly all year round. Lots of Surf schools too.
Communication with home owners was excellent and we do hope to stay again!

A lovely holiday cottage in a fantastic location , we took our dogs and it was absolutely perfect for our needs , a secure garden with a quiet farm track right behind to walk the dogs through picturesque countryside , cottage was very clean and has a lovely positive vibe to it and has pretty much everything you will need , very comfortable mattress provided a great sleep
In general a great cottage and owners were fantastic too

Everything that we should need for our weeks stay in Cornwall was already there, it truly was a home from home. A wonderful cream tea was waiting for us on arrival, which was a lovely touch. Fabulous location. Will definitely be booking again with Sykes again. I would recommend using them to anyone.

"Lovely, well equipped cottage."
15 min walk to Watergate Bay. The nearest shop is 2 miles away, not 0.5 as stated. I think there is a shop at the local campsite but that’s seasonal. It didn’t matter for us though.
Ideally positioned for Newquay airport to pick up our son when he flew in.

The cottage is well presented and in a great location but enough away from the hub to enable a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The neighbours are very pleasant and the owners were readily available if assistance was needed, which it was not. Everything you need for a relaxed home from home holiday is provided.

"Lovely warm well equipped cottage with views over Watergate Bay."
Very clean and comfortable. An initial problem was sorted out quickly and efficiently by CCH and a helpful phone call from the owner. Only negative was the parking- although there is an allocated space we struggled to get in and out of it in our Volvo because of the inconsiderate parking of neighbours. We frequently couldn’t use the space at all.

The service we received from Cornish Cottage Holidays was second to none. We had an issue on our last day involving a lost house key. One phone call to CCH (on a bank holiday!) and the problem was immediately resolved. Excellent all round

"Brilliant cottage."
Parking was an issue. Really tight parking spaces and the neighbours park their car in an awkward position. Directions given to get to the property are out of date also.
