Very well equipped for cooking from home, and comfortable for family stay. Clean and very nicely prepared for us to make the most of the holiday.

"Great location, best equipped kitchen we have had over 20 years - except why can we never get a non-stick frying pan?"
Holiday breakfast fried eggs with bacon are a must-have! We wanted for nothing from the property. The walk down to the sea was simple enough - perhaps make this better known in the cottage info (unless I missed it) and would certainly advocate walking up to the coast path and watch the sun set on the horizon over the sea. Simply amazing.

"Heightley House is certainly one of the best if not the best property we have ever holidayed in."
It was very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The whole house was warm and welcoming the background heating and hot towel rail in the bathroom was much appreciated.I can't say anything was missing on the equipment front even Bonnie our Border Terrier was well catered for. The shower was wonderful, towels luxurious and the beds very comfortable.Even the neighbours were very friendly.
We enjoyed the food at the Millhouse Inn and the Port William. We also visited all our usual haunts Padstow, Polzeath,Tintagel etc etc all within easy reach of the house.
The peace and quiet of the houses position was much appreciated and the views were magnificent.
Even the weather was kind to us.
All in all a most wonderful relaxing holiday.
I would love to know more of the history of the house it's origins, who it was built for ec
Thank you
Regards

"Lovely house, warm and comfortable."
Well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Few minutes walk down a foot path to beach, there are a couple of stiles to climb over but our 3 year managed it easily. The beach is sandy with lots of rock pools and a couple of caves. Great for children and good body boarding/surfing opportunities, but tide dependant. Lots of things to do around and about for trips.

"It was a lovely house in a fantastic location."
The house had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy, plenty of towels. Our teenage son loved the bedroom on the top floor, as it had a tv so he could play on his xbox in the evening. We were able to do lots of walking with our dog and loved the Port William pub. We walked into Tintagel a few times from the house, its not far and took around 20 minutes.

"A delightful holiday house, which was extremely well equipped and felt like a home away from home."
The location was close to the beach and Tintagel. As long as you are prepared for steps (front and back) and driving through some narrow lanes, you will be rewarded with a Cornish gem.

This house is a dream home from home with everything we could possibly want. Close to the attractions of the north of Cornwall but in a very quiet area it provided the peace we needed away from our busy lives.
