  • "Lovely cottage, great garden for the dog."

Close to lots of beaches just a drive away and nice to be away from the crowds.Kitchen and BBQ had everything you needed. The owners were super helpful. Would highly recommend!

  • "The barn was lovely, modern and spotlessly clean."

The garden provided ample space for the dog too. It was a great location to explore the north coast of Cornwall and other areas as well. We had an enjoyable and relaxing family break here.

  • "The accommodation was perfect, exceptionally well equipped, and comfortable with plenty of space to relax."

The garden was lovely, we spent several evenings sitting out on the deck listening to the bird song. Our dog loved running around and exploring. The owners were very friendly, they were there if we needed them but they did not impose. Would definitely stay there again. Be aware that you are staying in the middle of the lovely countryside and you really need a car to get around as little or no public transport.

  • "A gorgeous cottage in a beautiful area with very friendly and helpful owners!"

The barn has been beautifully renovated by the owners, with exceptional attention to detail (it has everything you could need!), and it’s also spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend it to anyone, but especially to families. The children loved the charming bunk bed room and playing in the garden, and we’d all love to go back to explore the stunning area more. It’s perfectly located for exploring the amazing scenery of the North Devon coast, but we also easily drove to the south coast for days out at the Eden Project, Stanton House and Buckland Abbey, so it was a great choice for a half term break. Thank you, Ilze and family, for such a fabulous stay!

The cottage felt very cosy and homely. It’s situated in a perfect location, we saw lots of lots of places and even drove as far as Lands End and Lizard Point. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who likes the peace and quiet but not too far from anywhere.

The barn itself is very spacious, clean and has a very homely feel. Lovely little welcome treats was a nice touch. Garden is great and we spent many a nights sat on the terrace enjoying the peace and quiet. Great base for exploring North Cornwall too, we visited Rock, Padstow and Bude during our trip. Would certainly recommend to others and would love to come back in the future.

  • "What a fantastic place, with lovely hosts."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it formed the perfect base for exploring North Cornwall. We were so lucky with the weather so spent a lot of time on the beaches. Crackington Haven and Millook are fantastic quiet little rocky beaches. The beaches at Rock and Bude are sandy and have a bit more around them. The barn itself has such a lovely homely feeling, we felt relaxed as soon as we walked in. We hope to be back soon

  • "After a busy few months, it was truly relaxing to arrive at the Barn and discover it to be so well set up, clean and comfortable."

It was obviously recently renovated to a high standard, and the layout was thoughtful and worked brilliantly for us. The kids loved the bunk beds, and the open plan living area was a great space for family time. A short drive to several beautiful villages, with walks up along the coastal path or beaches to explore. The owners were very helpful but not at all intrusive, and their booklet of suggestions for places to visit and pubs to try was absolutely spot on.

  • "The property is a well prepared fabulous example of a barn conversion."

The decoration and facilities were top notch. We loved the quirky upside down arrangement, with a lounge leading out onto the upstairs garden which was an absolute delight for our 15 year old dog, who ambled around and lay in the sun. The owners were fabulous, and helped us enjoy our stay whilst remaining completely none intrusive. As our first experience of holiday in the UK for many years this was a great experience. The local sights are easily accessible from the cottage and it was lovely to arrive home after a day experiencing Britain at its best.
