  • "Bungalow was clean(apart from a few cobwebs in bathroom and bedroom)."

Very well equipped. Everything you need. Didn’t find the beds comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. A good base to get around in Cornwall. The town Liskeard 5 mins in car was nice and sells delicious Cornish pasties! Market cafe was also good. Visited many lovely beaches, towns and lake. The shower was great and only drawback for us was the garden not being secure for our dogs. Wi-fi is poor. Overall we enjoyed our stay and weather was great.

  • "Quite location and is adjacent to woodland which was great for walking the dog."

Appreciated the flowers and treats left for us. Ideal base to explore both Cornwall and Dorset. For those that want to eat out, we can throughly recommend ‘The Manor House Inn’ which was a suggestion from Philip. It was busy over the Christmas week so suspect that during the summer, booking would be advisable.

The accommodation was also very spacious, bright and airy. It was close to many of the places to visit, and travelling was easy. We go to Cornwall every year with our rescue dogs, and this by far is the best accommodation we have stayed at. Many thanks to Mr Evans for making our holiday great.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Streamside."

We were very grateful for the cream teas, flowers, fresh bedding, towels and dog treats on arrival.  Streamside has been a home from home for us all. Everything is here that you need. It was very thoughtful of the owners to do a freshen up in the middle of our holiday. Which was a lovely surprise as you don't get that anywhere else we have stayed. The location was picturesque and quiet. The gentle noise from stream when sitting outside was very relaxing. It was definitely ideal for us as we wanted a base to explore part of Cornwall. We wasn't too far away from the major roads. Our 3 dogs have loved every minute the area is really dog friendly.  We will without doubt be back!!

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Streamside, the property was spotlessly clean and tidy throughout."

Fresh linen was on the beds and towels were provided. The cream tea and coffee/tea/sugar and milk was also gratefully received and the fresh flowers was a lovely touch. The only thing we have to say on the negative side is that the bath and shower head were too high for us to get into, my friend is not good on her feet and therefore, for her to have stepped into the bath without a handrail to grab onto would have been dangerous, but otherwise we have no complaints at all. We would love to stay here again someday and would recommend to our friends and family members without hesitation.

We were thrilled to read your positive feedback, thank you. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Streamside. You are right, a grab rail over the bath would be a good idea and we will ensure one is fitted ready for next year. Property Owner

  • "Our holiday was great."

The bungalow is in a good location for exploring Cornwall. We kept to within 50 mins travelling time as we had our 2 dogs with us. We did Looe, Polperro, Padstow, Port Isaac, Newquay, Tintagel Castle, Bocastle, The Jamaican Inn and horse riding on Bodmin Moor. The actual bungalow is very tired and needs a good deep clean. Lots of dust and dirt in certain areas kitchen being the worst especially inbetween cooker and units. A fowl smell coming from the corner cupboard which is either a leak or damp which the bungalow does have a problem with. The step in the kitchen going out the back door also needs attention. Was looking forward to a bath after the long days out walking but the plug didnt work and the water kept running out. The garden furniture also needs updating the bench is starting to rot. The pub onsite was closed which was disappointing. Nice touches such as flowers milk tea coffee and a cream tea.

We were sad to read your feedback. However we are pleased that overall you enjoyed your holiday. We note the points you have raised and we will address them all ready for the forthcoming season. Hopefully if you do return, you will find our cottage up to our usual high standard. Property Owner

We are so sorry for your disappointment. We have requested to Sykes that the information regarding the pub is removed from our property details, but I note that it is still there. We will raise this with them again. We hope that this did not detract from you enjoying your stay with us. Property Owner

Made welcome by milk, coffee and scones with jam and cream. A lovely bunch of flowers left for us. Ideal place for exploring and the dogs had the best time. Only downside was the on-site pub is closed. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are pleased that Streamside lived up to it's usual high standard. We are also saddened regarding the closure of the pub, due to COVID and are still waiting for Sykes to update our details. We hope you will return in the near future. Property Owner

Thank you for your wonderful feedback regarding Streamside, we are so happy that you had a lovely holiday. With regards to the Settee and chair, this has now been replaced with 2 x 2 seater soft leather sofas, which we hope you will find more comfortable next time. Property Owner

  • "We have just returned from a stay at Streamside; a lovely, well-equipped bungalow in a quiet and peaceful setting with cows as nosey neighbours across the stream!"

We travelled as a couple with our three dogs and their needs were well catered for within the bungalow, with blankets and treats. The location was excellent and ideal for using as a base to explore Cornwall. Recovering from an operation, one of our dogs is less mobile than the others, so we needed to use a buggy at times. All the places we visited were suitable for him and were extremely dog friendly. Some of our highlights were: Siblyback Lake, NT Cotehele & Calstock, Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow [on bicycles with dog trailers], Looe and Daisy's Cafe, Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, Jamaica Inn, Watergate Beach, Cornish Arms at St. Merryn, Cardinham Woods, Golitha Falls, NT Trelissick Garden with lunch at the Punch Bowl & Ladle, Callestick Farm Ice Cream, Trevallick's Farm Shop & Tea Room and last, but by no means least, dining at the Crow's Nest. We had a great time and would definitely recommend.
