    Mr Tucker

“Perhaps made a mistake not checking property but thinking a bungalow was a good option for guests of poor mobility I was surprised by access to front and rear doors was not suitable.”

Access was easier to gain via garage but contacting owner we were given a false truth. This was later proven when the cooker in the property tripped a fuse and we were without no lights in kitchen and central heating due to the fuse board being in the locked garage. Had to give up a morning of the holiday whilst awaiting electrian.

The property

This beautiful bungalow is set in a quiet area of Wadebridge and is ideally located for visiting the north coast of Cornwall.

With its golden sands of Daymer Bay and Polzeath, these beaches are within a 15-minute car trip.

Alternatively, Padstow, Port Issac and Tintagel are a short drive.

This property is ideally located for a family holiday. There is a spacious entrance hall to keep your shoes and coats which leads to a delightful sitting room, with 3 sofas and a TV with dvd player.

A central fireplace and seaside accessories create that home-away-from-home feel, somewhere peaceful to relax with outside views to keep you company.

For more of the wonderful surroundings, the immaculate kitchen/diner has large spacious windows with fantastic views over Trenant Vale, creating a soothing place to settle down with your loved ones with charming table under the low pendant lighting and sofa to relax and take in the scenery.

The kitchen which is equipped to a high standard leads through a hallway with rear entrance to a utility where there is a coffee machine and more space to hang coats.

Patio doors from the kitchen open up onto the secluded five tier garden with an area on each level to rest and take in the peaceful scenery.

The family bathroom compliments the cottage's style wholeheartedly; a white suite with a glimpse of colour, and a shower situated over the bath.

You will be pleased to discover the calm and serene bedrooms, with a layout to suit everybody, including a tasteful master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite.

Bedroom two had a zip link bed which offers the option of twin beds or a king-size and a third bedroom with bunkbeds perfect for the children.

Attractive wall art, ample storage, and of course the dreamy natural views, will uplift your mood as soon as you wake up.

For those into stargazing, the terrace makes an ideal spot to glance up at the skies, and the owners have thoughtfully provided a telescope for those pretty nights.

The garden is a great place to explore overlooking a quiet vale.

It's safe for kids and dogs and has relaxing garden furniture to enjoy the beautiful garden, which benefits from the sun all day as well as a BBQ available for your use.

The cottage is situated just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre and the famous Camel Trail, a haven for walkers and cyclists.

There is a disused railway line running from Wadebridge to Padstow, which is now a dedicated cycle track with cycle hire being available in Wadebridge itself.

The local pubs include the Earl of Saint Vincent, very old and quirky, they serve food and their main trade is locals as well as the Ship Inn with great food and beer as well as the Molesworth Arms in the centre of Wadebridge, with many other pubs and places to eat nearby.

There is a passenger ferry from Rock to Padstow which is only a 10-minute drive from Wadebridge.

The North Cornwall coast is within 5 miles, featuring a grand selection of beaches, rocky coves and towering cliffs to explore.

Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches, a fascinating sea life centre, exciting zoo and vibrant nightspots will only elevate your holiday experience at 65 Foxdown Manor.
