  • "Really lovely property."

A real home from home. We stayed here last year too. We had a few minor issues with the heating/hot water but these were resolved really quickly.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Trenant View."

It’s a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the local areas. Fully equipped, very spacious and furnished to a very high standard. Definitely recommend and would love to visit again. 10 minute walk into Wadebridge which has some lovely restaurants, pubs and shops. Also able to hire bikes in town to explore the Camel Trail which we all really enjoyed, cycling to both Bodmin and Padstow, there’s a lovely cafe / coffee stop both ways.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Trenant View."

The property was very comfortable and well equipped. Decorated to a high standard. Good base for visiting other areas. The only downside is the property is situated on a housing estate and there is nowhere to walk the dogs immediately from the property. You have to walk through the houses down to Wadebridge but it is a very steep climb back up the hill.

Could benefit from high chair availability for those with a baby and a working hoover and taller brush but these are minor issues and didn’t detract from our holiday stay here

Super comfortable house, well equipped and great location for exploring Cornwall. Wadebridge only a ten minute walk, good shops and eateries there too. Fabulous garden / outdoor area and the sunsets views were amazing. We definitely didn’t want to leave!

  • "We found no."

65 extremely well presented, clean & with first class equipment. However, we looked for but never found a teapot, an essential piece of equipment! We do not like heavy duvets, so that was the first item to discard, the bedrooms were warm enough without a duvet, but that is just our personal view. Altogether a wonderful holiday in a sumptuous property.

Thank you for your nice feed back - we are glad you like the house and had a wonderful holiday. It is important to us that the house is well presented and you have all the equipment you want. I have visited the house today and can't find the tea pot either - I guess it must have been a casualty while a previous guest was staying. It is on my shopping list today so there will be a new one in the house for future guests. We hope to see you again. Regards Duncan Property Owner

Great location especially if you have plans for the North of Cornwall, such easy access to Padstow, Wadebridge and Perranporth. Also great for coastal walks

  • "We went to Cornwall on a cold week, found large bedroom cold and radiator didn’t seem to get warm, the house is lovely with good views at back, I can imagine during summer it is wonderful."

Hi Valerie, Thank you for the feed back, we are sorry you found the large bedroom cold, I think we must have underestimated the heating required to cope with the vaulted celling and glass in the gable end. As the weather has warmed up I am sure it will be ok now however to make sure it is warm we have added two portable radiators of guests to use. In the summer we are going to have a second radiator fitted - with twice the heat output I am sure it will be nice and warm this winter. Regards Duncan Property Owner

  • "WOW!! Well thoughout and designed property"

! We had an amazing time at Trenat View Thank you! The minute we walked through the door we felt totally at home and never once felt like we were on holiday in a holiday home! Every single thing here suited our needs and ticked every single box for us and our 2 ( boys) dogs. The garden was safe to let them out day or night alone and not have to walk them outside on leads and would be a dream in the warmer months, as we spend more time out than in. I couldn't recommend this property enough its very spacious and has everything you need even a bread maker to make your own fresh bread every day :) Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope all being well to be back for our spring visit next year!

  • "Great place to stay, as advertised and more!"

Only the top most 'tier' of the garden is shown in pictures, there are additional tiers behind the hedge that you can walk down into or available for pets to explore. Beds were comfortable and the open plan from main bedroom as well as living area are fantastic features when the weather is nice enough.

  • "What can I say a Holiday Cottage (Bungalow) that was booked over 2 years ago prior to the pandemic and since then the owners Duncan & Jo Lorimer have extended and transformed the property into a luxury bungalow."

The revised photos on the Sykes website say it all and with magnificent views from the back garden, this however means a steep hill down to Wadebridge unfortunately. The wait for our holiday was well worth it.

Well situated for visiting both coasts of Cornwall and many of the attractions. There were a few minor issues which I raised with Customer Services but they did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay, The house is spacious, well equipped and tastefully furnished and is in a quiet area of Wadebridge. Lovely view from the rear of the property and a comfortable patio area.

  • "This is a lovely, modern, spacious bungalow."

The kitchen is large and very spacious, with lovely views of the garden. The garden is massive, on 5 descending levels , which our daughter absolutely loved! For anyone who is disabled/infirm, the garden can still be enjoyed using the top part which has seating and a table. The bungalow was very comfortable to stay in, it was spotless clean and well maintained and well decorated, with all necessary amenities. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, with good quality bedding. We were very pleasantly surprised at the high standard of this accommodation. It is ideally located for exploring Wadebridge and Padstow and there are dog friendly beaches nearby. You do need a car to explore the lovely area.

  • "This was a lovely house, in fact, much lovelier than appears from the website."

It was spotlessly clean, well-presented and well-equipped. The kitchen/diner was an absolute joy to sit in and watch the sun set. It was only a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Wadebridge but also right on the edge of the town, with commanding views over the valley and fields more or less adjacent. The only niggle we had was that we didn’t find the mattresses comfortable. We would, however, definitely recommend it. It’s an ideal base for a holiday in that part of Cornwall.

The property is really large, huge lounge and kitchen/dining room, with comfortable furniture and furnishings and is well equipped with everything you need, it was very homely. It exceeded our expectations, and was all round much better than many other holiday properties. Gorgeous garden with good quality garden furniture, and lots of levels to explore. Close to local amenities and a nice walk into Wadebridge where there are plenty of shops, including an excellent butchers and bakery. The location is great, you are just a short drive to many stunning beaches. Will definitely be booking again.

  • "This is a large detached bungalow with substantial garden with lovely views from rear of property."

property description was accurate. Communication with the owner, Jo, was excellent as the booking was very much last minute. Advantages Huge kitchen with all facilities Large lounge King sized bed in one bedroom Plenty of storage space Free wifi Welcome pack Easy Off road parking More parking available in road Location Top of fairly steep hill of about 400 yards Quiet neighbourhood Small Londis about 600 yards away. Town centre just under a mile away with large Co-op, and large out of town Tesco (with very cheap petrol!) Close to Camel Trail Minor disadvantage Property is dog friendly, unfortunately the last visitor with a dog allowed their pet on the sofa, so I found dog hairs all over my clothes after using sofa. In addition they hadn’t removed their dog’s excrement from the garden. Overall - recommended as a great place to stay in Wadebridge.

  • "Perhaps made a mistake not checking property but thinking a bungalow was a good option for guests of poor mobility I was surprised by access to front and rear doors was not suitable."

Access was easier to gain via garage but contacting owner we were given a false truth. This was later proven when the cooker in the property tripped a fuse and we were without no lights in kitchen and central heating due to the fuse board being in the locked garage. Had to give up a morning of the holiday whilst awaiting electrian.
