The property

Nestled on the outskirts of the quiet village of St Dennis, in Cornwall, is this delightful, semi-detached stone barn conversion, situated in the Cornwall countryside.

This property is set in a remote location, with magnificent country views from every window, and a delightful patio area, where you can sit out with your breakfast of a morning and delight in this picturesque location.

Stepping through the front door, you will be greeted to a spacious, open-plan living space, boasting a large multi-games table, which can be used for table tennis, air hockey or pool - you and your little ones can play all day long and never tire!

The lounge has two large sofas, where you can curl up of an evening with your loved ones and catch up on all your favourite shows, with the woodburning stove adding that extra bit of warmth.

Gather around the dining room table to discuss the day's events, or to enjoy a lovely home-cooked meal.

The kitchen is amply-equipped with everything you could need to cook up a storm for the whole family, with a convenient washing machine so you don't have to pack your whole wardrobe!

Down the hall are two bedrooms: one king-size with an en-suite shower room and one family room housing a bunk bed and a single bed.

Each bedroom has a warm and inviting atmosphere with the splash of colour on the pillows and bed throw, not to forget the high-quality furnishings so you can store your personal items.

The family bathroom offers an elegant bath and shower over, so you can decide how best to prepare for your day.

While you're in St Dennis, why not venture out to see some of Cornwall's best attractions.

Your little ones will love exploring the Screech Owl Santcuary.

Discover a wide-range of owl species, who were either sick or injured and were brought to safety.

Situated close to the Goss Moor Nature Reserve, which spans across 12 kilometres and offers stunning views across the unspoiled countryside, and many pathways or walking and cycling.

Take a drive towards the coastal towns of Mevagissey and Charlestown with good access to St Austell and Newquay for a wealth of activities to get involved with.

Boasting a variety of public beaches, where families can enjoy a day out - your little ones can build sandcastles and take a dip in the water, or try your hand at surfing, with plenty of surfing schools nearby to help guide you.

For a great day out take a trip to the Eden Project and the lost gardens of Heligan.

About the location

St Austell 7 miles.

To the north west of St Austell Bay lies the quiet village of St Dennis, nestling amongst the “Cornish Alps”, named after the conical piles which dominate the landscape. This was once a busy china clay mining area, but is now renowned for The Eden Project, itself built in an exhausted china clay quarry. St Dennis village has a good selection of shops including a chemist and a butcher, and is a perfect base for exploring Cornwall, being mid-way between the north and south coasts, and also with easy access to main roads. Nearby is the Goss Moor trail which offers seven miles of fabulous walking routes. From the rugged coastline between Perranporth and Newquay in the north, to the softer sandy coves around St Austell in the south, there really is something for everyone within easy reach of St Dennis.
