    “Exceptional end to end experience.”

Great advice from Sykes given the close proximity of the G7 summit. The property is outstanding and situated in a most beautiful location. It’s also very handy for many Cornwalls towns and beaches. It was very well equipped with a fabulous outside deck. We would not hesitate to return.

To showcase the views the open-plan living room can be found on the first floor of this quirky reverse level property, with large patio windows affording a constant connection with the countryside beyond and the warmth of the woodburning stove setting a relaxing ambiance.

The high ceilings are a striking element to this space, as is the impressive Range cooker, which takes centre stage before all of the other quality appliances that await the chef of the group to cook up family favourite dishes.

The wood flooring lies beneath the formal dining table where you can look forward to relishing in the company of loved ones and the seating arrangement invites you to curl up to browse the channels of the TV or delve into a good book.

During the balmy afternoons, open up the patio doors to allow a seamless integration of the outside in, before stepping out onto the large terrace, boasting a sumptuous outdoor sofa, which you can recline into with a glass of something in hand, whilst the countryside views continue to captivate.

Once the sun has set, return indoors and head downstairs to the ground floor to find your sleeping spots, comprising of a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom, both offering a refreshing ambiance, good storage and quality linens to ensure that sleep comes easy after a bracing day on the coastline.

If you can tear yourself away from this rural retreat, you will find a local shop for picking up any essentials, as well The Bearded Brewery to linger over a pint less than half a mile away, whilst the town of St Columb Major lies slightly further afield and offer more amenities.

Newquay lies just a short drive away, where you will find a whole host of family-friendly attractions, including a zoo, an aquarium and a choice of three wonderful beaches, whilst those feeling active can visit the National Surfing Centre and try their hand at surfing on the epic rolling surf at Fistral Beach.

Slightly further afield is Padstow, a sleepy fishing port which promises to be a more relaxing day out, or for avid ramblers there is the famous South West Coast Path awaiting to be explored, winding its way over the dramatic cliffs and taking you down to hidden coves and more sublime beaches.
