The property

A large Edwardian house, Bellevue sits in a proud position on the headland above Port Isaac, on the North Cornwall coast.

Set over three floors, with seven bedrooms and three bathrooms, and with the advantage of private parking for two cars, Bellevue is a perfect choice for an extended family or families sharing as it sleeps up to twelve guests.

The large kitchen/diner has plenty of worktop and dining space and the electric range cooker makes it a doddle to cook up a gourmet meal for a house full of guests.

The sitting room is light and bright, with views out to the sea, and the woodburning stove makes it a really cosy room to settle in with the family and play a board game or round of cards.

The bedrooms are set over the first and second floors, and the mix of super-king, twin, single and bunk bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements for families with children or a group of families/friends.

There will be no worries about queuing for the bathroom as Bellevue has three bathrooms, a ground-floor cloakroom and even an outside shower for days when it gets really hot!

To the rear of the property there is an enclosed garden with lawned area – a safe haven if you want to bring the family dog – and a patio terrace to enjoy al fresco dining.

Port Isaac's quaint harbour is only about five minutes’ walk away where you can browse delightful galleries, shops or dine out in cafes, restaurants, or the pub.

Port Gaverne is less than a five-minute walk away, where sea swimming in the stunning sheltered cove is exhilarating yet safe.

Nearby attractions include the Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay, Camel Creek Adventure Park in Tredinnick, and the historic former prison of Bodmin Jail.

Make your holiday in Cornwall a memorable one with a stay at Bellevue.

About the location

PORT ISAAC

Polzeath 6 miles; Padstow 9 miles

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.
