“Upover Tresungers is on a working livestock farm and anyone booking there needs to bear this in mind for a number of reasons: 1.”

The access road is a typical farm track with potholes. If your car struggles with sleeping policemen on normal roads this might cause you problems. 2. The farming family are really nice people but, because it is a working farm, they do start their day 'early' and finish in the evening so you need to be prepared for their comings and goings as the flat is over part of their living accommodation. 3. There are times when the farmyard will be 'full' of livestock - during our stay the cattle were undergoing bovine TB checks. It didn't affect our comings and goings but you need to be accepting of, maybe, getting quite close to large animals, their noise and smell. These things aside Tresungers Farm is superbly located for many of the places of interest in this area - Tintagel, Port Isaac (think Doc Martin), Padstow, Bodmin, Jamaica Inn and more. We can thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay to have that access but be slightly off the beaten track.
