"We cannot fault Treverva Farm."
Our accommodation was amazing. Everything you could possibly need, beautifully clean and a wonderful location. Great facilities on site, tennis court, hot tub, table tennis, darts, pool table, trampoline, bbq area, dog friendly plus the resident farm animals. Only 3 holiday lets on site so very peaceful and quiet. We had many fun days out but our children couldn't wait to get back to the farm again. Perfect holiday for us all. The children already asking when we can go back again !! Cannot rate this place highly enough. We all had a lovely holiday. Thank you to all at Treverva Farm.

"Spacious accommodation and well equipped."
Friendly owners who live on-site. Sitting room kitchen area has good views across hills to Argal reservoir. Goats, horses, cows, hens and grass tennis court, trampoline places to wander or sit and barbecue outside. Table tennis, pool and darts inside make for a good holiday! (Hot-tub also available, check website)

"Found the property very tranquil and great for a family, however the maintenance of the property could do with a little updating ie extractor fans in bathrooms not working , also very annoying when opening the fridge door the freezer door would open with it not lined up correctly."
we also had a problem with cracked toilet seat which when mentioned was tackled right away . the problems were small and didn’t effect our holiday lovely spot with great views.

"Fabulous property with great amenities."
The view was spectacular, location superb. Would definitely recommend.
-
"We had a lovely stay at the cottage, there was plenty of space for all of us and the children loved the trampoline and animals outside."
-
"Lovely break."
Friendly owners very accommodating, and kids loves the fact there were animals. Only down side was the additional cost for use of the hot tub. It’s charged on a weekly basis, as we were only there for a weekend it proved quite costly for our party of 8. Also lovely little bar area , great idea and we loved using it but it was cold as radiator didn’t seem to work… tricky as we stayed in November..!!! We would def stay again.

"Listed as 2 beds upstairs and 2 down when in fact it is 3 down and 1 up."
cooker is a convection hob so your don't take your own pans unless you are sure they will work I usually take my pressure cooker. take 50p's if you want to use the pool table. We had a superb stay here with friends, everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. everyone is more than happy to recommend and intends to return in the near future. We enjoyed the cream tea left out for our arrival.

"Very spacious."
Good beds. Modern bathrooms and kitchen. Beautiful views. Short drive to wonderful seaside villages and Falmouth. Facilities were the biggest plus- hot tub overlooking the valley, tennis, table tennis, bbq kits, darts, games, trampoline and animals for kids. Although the house had been cleaned and fittings are modern, there were quite a few areas that need some minor repair/ scrub to keep 5 star standard.

"Absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning location."

"The cottage was warm comfortable had everything you needed to have a great family break."
A good base for exploring Cornwall. The host were great and on hand if needed. Highly reccomend these cottages.
-
"Excellent holiday cottage and very comfortable."
Lots of extra amenities which was great too. The only things to watch out for is that the living spaces are upstairs and the steps aren’t particularly great for young toddlers but the accommodation as a whole was great for toddlers - high chair, travel cot, animals on site, trampoline etc. We would definitely return! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful with local knowledge.

"We had an absolutely fantastic weekend in the property."
The facilities were perfect - especially for the children with the pool table/trampoline and the animals. The owner couldn’t do enough for us whilst we were there and was super helpful with anything we needed.

"I would definitely recommend staying at the Helford Cottage at Treverva Farm."
The owners are so welcoming, they left some bread, butter and eggs for us and also they were very helpful as I needed to do two lots of washings (lots of towels and swimwear) and because the shared dryer was not working they kindly took in the washing and put it in their own dryer for us. The cottage is great - the beds are so comfortable and the addition of being able to play table tennis and pool was great for the boys in the evening. This is a great location for exploring Cornwall and also very close to Falmouth for restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Cornwall.

"Stunning property and really warm welcome by Michaela."
Amazing welcome basket of bread, butter, milk, tea and coffee. Great location and really dog friendly. A bit cold upstairs but the weather was rather cold and wet.
-
"On the whole an amazing experience."
Considering we had a large party owing to it being my daughters wedding, there was enough space for us all to be comfortable. The location, the venue, the host and the goats all extremely welcoming.. One thing I would request fir the future was wall mirrors in the bedroom then it’s perfect. Thank you for s great stay.. we definitely plan to return. 5 stars!!

"A great house, with fab facilities."
Ian was most welcoming, Marlowe, the Springer was a star and Ian’s son was the most polite boy. A great holiday all round. Thank you
-
"A extremely comfortable and relaxing location overlooking the reservoir."
Warm and friendly welcome from the host. The on-site bar is a plus albeit I didn’t get to use it as I was so busy visiting Cornwall. Overall, highly recommended.

"Lovely accommodation, just right for our family holiday."
We were welcomed by Ian who told us about the accommodation and surroundings. Plus Ideas for days out and places to eat. We had a great welcome food pack waiting for us in the well equipped kitchen. Bathrooms were clean and modern. Beds were so comfortable. Many thanks for letting us stay. We hope to be back again one day

"A large family gathering and room for all."
All of our expectations met and all we needed for a comfortable stay. A beautiful outlook over the lake which also provided a lovely walk through the woods. The area has something for everyone, The beaches are not overcrowded and are interesting, with fish and crabs for the little one's to catch, the countryside is just as nice. I am disabled but managed to get about there and the clean air made breathing much easier. I managed a slow walk for almost a mile, when in London I cant manage more than 50yds. All in all a great holiday but would have liked a second week as there is so much to explore. Will do that next year.

"A beautiful property with everything we needed for a perfect family holiday."
Ian, Michaela & Lewis made us very welcome on Treverva Farm which is set in an idyllic location on the edge of Argal Lake. It was also perfectly situated for us to be able to visit many of our favourite places; Padstow, Perranporth, St Ives, St Michael's Mount, The Lizard Peninsula and less than five minutes drive to the lovely beaches of Swanpool and Gillynvase in Falmouth. We would certainly recommend Halford and the other two smaller apartments at Treverva Farm and hope we will return again soon.

"Myself and 7 others stayed in the Helford cottage for 3 nights."
Lovely location, with a short walk down to the river where there is a small cafe called Wild Vibes where we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. The cottage was close to both Truro and Falmouth, and was big enough for all 8 of us comfortably. Upon arrival, we had a hamper of bread, eggs and butter, plus there was ice in the freezer which was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen was lovely and modern and there was an excellent view from the first floor. The only negative comment I would make is that the kitchen sides had crumbs on them from the previous tennants when we arrived, and the bathrooms could have had a slightly deeper clean, but other than that the cottage was lovely and clean and homely. The hosts left us to it for the stay, and kindly heated up some hot water for drinks on the last morning as there was a power cut in the area. We were incredibly happy with the stay and would definitely come back! Thank you

"We had a fantastic few days at Helford celebrating my dad’s 80th birthday and visiting my daughter at university."
Helford is in a beautiful location and the hosts were fantastic. We will definitely be coming back.

"We stayed in the Helford cottage for Christmas 2018, 7 adults 2 dogs and a baby!"
From start to finish the whole stay was beyond our expectations,Ian, Michaela & Lewis were so welcoming and accommodating The accommodation was spacious with large comfy beds and a generous sized living area and kitchen. We particularly liked the rainforest showers in the bathrooms! The accommodation was close to Falmouth town which is beautiful and was also near some lovely beaches such as Swanpool, it was a great base to explore Cornwall from! We would definitely recommend Helford and the other 2 cottages on the site (Dexter & Argal) to all our friends and family and plan to return in 2019! Thank you for making our Christmas!

"The house was beautiful, very comfortable and well equipped, the owners live on the farm and couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating."
We were close to lovely beeches and Cornish villages so enjoyed a wide range of activities, it was always a pleasure to come back to a lovely environment in the eavening where we could spend great family time eating, drinking and playing games. The kids really loved playing table tennis, visiting the goats and horses and they particularly loved the family dog marlo. We were sorry to leave and would go back again and recommend the house without hesitation.

Although there was a slight mix-up with the days we had booked , this was resolved very quickly and effectively. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a fun Cornwall getaway.

"We had a wonderful stay at Treverva Farm."
We stayed in the Helford cottage, which was perfect for our family of three, plus an additional couple. The accommodation is superb—beautifully finished, clean, and very comfortable. The view is lovely over the fields toward a small lake. The location is excellent for sightseeing throughout Cornwall. Our daughter loved the farm animals. Our hosts went the second mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

For nature lovers and those who enjoy boats, the misty reaches of the Helford river meander upstream to Gweek, where the world renowned Seal Sanctuary looks after the region’s many abandoned and injured seals.
