  • "Everything was absolutely brilliant and we were surprised at the size of the rooms and how bright and airy it felt."

Our only complaint is the bed, it was so uncomfortable and so small. I'm not sure that it's a double bed to be honest. We barely got any rest which sadly meant we left a day early.

Thank you for your feedback We are so pleased that you enjoyed the cottage. The bed is a double bed but we do provide a king sized duvet for our guests comfort. Property Owner

  • "The cottage is attractive, clean and well provided."

The bed is comfortable and the towels fluffy. The outside space is a little overstated: it is more of a strip where you might dry clothes, rather than a patio where you would want to sit out. Scones, jam and cream were a nice welcome gift but I had arrived in the evening and was disappointed not to be able to make a hot drink - not a teabag to be had! I think it may have been an over sight as there was fresh milk in the fridge.

  • "A great stay and a great cottage."

Only issue is the guest book states that all materials for the log burner are provided - however they aren’t. We text the housekeeper, who told us that the owners do not provide any materials .... no real issue just not sure why they would make a point of providing it in the book and and then say they don’t... ! Just say the truth in the guestbook!

Nice touches by owners, like fluffy towels, fresh flowers, scones and cream. Handy for local eating facilities. Good centre for exploring.
