"Just spent a very enjoyable week in Palm View."
The bungalow has everything you could possibly wish for to make your holiday comfortable. Lovely enclosed garden for the dogs, nice secure parking for cars. I can’t honestly think of anything negative to say, would definitely recommend staying here, truly deserves its 5 ⭐️.

"Firstly, the photos show it larger than it really is even though it was big enough for us."
Dogs were safe in the garden & that was a large plus. Cleanliness? For most it was very clean, but I must say that that 2 of the freezer trays were dirty & had to be cleaned before use. (Bits of food gone green in corners) Dog lost her ball under settee & she came out covered in fluff & dirt. When looking to see under, would say it is months of dirt under them. Hoovered before we left & the cleaner should empty it, as was nearly full with dirt. Instructions on how to use appliances would be great, as we have never used them sort of appliances before & sure that other will have same problem. Sky TV, but need code to access most of it unless watching the free channels. Maintenance was fast, great & friendly when we needed him for a problem, but that did not stop us doing anything. Now for the overall stay of two weeks: Neighbours are very friendly & helpful. We had a very nice stay & it was easy to get to shops. great fish & chips from the Village Fish & Chips Shop in Cubert were fantastic, nicely priced & only 5 mins in car. Both our dogs loved it there & meeting neighbour’s dogs with advise on where to take them, & we had a very nice overall stay. Easy parking was an advantage when raining. En suite bathroom bed is great but other bed needs a topper of mattress change. We will use again when we go to Cornwall, as it is a great place to stay & easy access to other parts of south Cornwall. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves & sorry we had a few bits that needed speaking about, but without telling you, you don't know.

"The property was well situated in a quiet residential street."
The facilities were good and it had everything you might need in the kitchen, although we did find that the dining area was a little ‘snug’ for table, chairs and 6 adults! The lounge seating was comfortable. The bedrooms were ok for our requirements, however, the en suite bathroom was somewhat cosy to say the least! Really enjoyed the garden as we were able to use it for every day of the holiday.

"We have been coming to holywell bay for over 25 years and have many memories and staying at Palm view just added one."
The bungalow was lovely and well maintained, plenty of space and well located in a quiet area just a few minutes walk from the beach and friendly local pubs. Myself and family would stay here again and highly recommend this property.

"We stayed as a family with our cockapoo."
This is our second visit to Holywell Bay and the first to Palm View. The property didn't disappoint. Very clean and modern. Lovely secure and private garden and views of the sea (I could even view the sea laying on my bed!). The area itself is very quiet, a few minutes walk to a fantastic beach and the property felt like a home from home with all mod cons. I would definitely recommend and return for future holidays with my family.

"We have enjoyed a long awaited holiday at Palm View, we travelled around the area by car, visiting Padstow, Port Issac, Tintagel, Newquay, Perranporth and St Ives."
We walked from the house along the beautiful beach, over the dunes and around the coast path to Perranporth, this was amazing although a little hair raising in places, not for the faint hearted. We went to the local pub, where the dogs were welcomed, the food was nice and we joined in with the Wednesday evening quiz, which was great fun. The café just by the beach was amazing and dog friendly too, offering, amongst a full menu, coffee and pastries to rave about. Palm View itself was extremely clean and comfortable, the garden is completely enclosed, even our tiny dog couldn't escape. Parking on the drive, very friendly and peaceful area 10/10 will look forward to staying again.

Good level parking to side of property made it easy for dogs to be let into garden. Master bedroom was well set up with a fabulous quality bed for a good nights sleep. Will definitely return.

Holywell Bay is a sleepy seaside village on the north Cornwall coast, boasting a fabulous beach with stunning dunes and an abundance of small streams and rock pools for the children to explore. Exposed to Atlantic swells, the beach is also popular with surfers and body boarders. Two of Holywell Bay’s most interesting features are the twin rocks just off the coast, known as Gull Rocks or Carter’s Rocks. The village has a selection of shops and pubs, whilst a mile away the village of Cubert has a Post Office, stores, bakery and cafe, village pub and restaurant. Just five miles away is Newquay, the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a watersports paradise!
