  • "Such a stunning location, beautiful views and sunsets."

A really well equipped house with some stylish and interesting furniture and art - which all added to the holiday. Helpful and responsive owners - a great stay and would love to return one day. Slightly odd that few windows open (lots of doors that do) and it consequently felt a little damp downstairs, in part I suspect due to the cornish weather we had this week

  • "The property was great and we had an amazing time."

The only problem was hot water ran out and several of us ended up having cold showers. If the property is advertised for 7 people inc children then we should expect hot water to be available. But after 2 people showered the water kept getting cold for 3rd person. Showers were max 5 mins each so it really put a downer on a otherwise great location and place to stay

I am very sorry. This has never happened before, there always has been constant hot water. I wish I had known I would have got my builder to come over and solve the proble m immediately. I am sorry for the delay in replying I have only just noticed this. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful house."

No ability to ventilate the middle bedroom We needed to put the heating on for one day but no visible instructions although thermostat available, we needed to search for the box!

Thankyou very much the feedback, the thermostat is portable and should have been in the kitchen, but we will make sure that this is clear on the list of instructions. Property Owner

It more than lived up to expectations. We didn’t want to leave!

  • "Everything absolutely perfect with Mordros and it’s stunning location."

The only suggestion would be to have a much bigger fridge / freezer. Only 2 of us stayed so we were fine. With 4 to 6 people it would be a real struggle to keep fresh / chilled food with under counter fridge only. We can’t wait to return!

  • "This is a lovely property that probably has the best views in Sennen Cove."

It is furnished to a reasonable standard providing adequate comfort. The kitchen is well equipped but please note whilst it is listed as having a Freezer, it does not, it is a Fridge with an Ice Box – which is relevant if preparing food in advance for your holiday. More information could be provided about the different equipment in the property, especially the heating controls. Having said all that, we would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again.

  • "We loved the cottage and the location was perfect."

So relaxing, very clean and well laid out with a really well supplied kitchen. Three (very small) observations. 1. No bin in the en suite bathroom 2. There was a dishwasher but no dishwasher tabs (that we could find!) 3. A little info pack (nearest shops/how to get to the pub/wifi code/local walks etc) would be really useful. Thank you!

Thank you have taken note and will put right. Property Owner

    Uncomfortable beds.

I am so sorry that you found our new John Lewis mattresses uncomfortable, you are the only vistors who have said that, The mattreeses are medium sprung so not too hard and not too soft. The bedding is all 100% cotton again, noone has complained about that either before. Property Owner

  • "Cottage was great."

It had brilliant views of Sennen Cove. Within walking distance of both Sennen Cove and Landsend. The only downside was the lack of furniture for small children. For example, no high chair or child gates for stairs.

  • "Mordros is a fabulous property, with breathtaking views over Sennen Cove, the harbour and out to sea."

We were there during the aftermath of storm Alex - we had huge fun watching the waves crashing over the harbour and young lads on the harbour wall playing chicken with the Atlantic Ocean - they lost. A wonderful holiday which we will never forget. The owner, Gillian, was extremely helpful. We left a Barbour jacket behind. She was kind enough to send it up to us free of charge.
