  • "Wonderful property."

Location is great, quality of the property is high. Plenty of space and very comfortable, thoroughly recommended

  • "Bowjy was just very tired No natural light in the bathrooms and inadequately equipped kitchen 5 teaspoons for what should sleep 6 people No log burner Very poor lighting in all rooms Sofa had really flat cushions on it and looked about 20 years old."

Also the throws had seen better days On the Friday of our holiday an e-mail was sent to us by the owner at 0653 to tell us there would be a power cut from 0830 until 1530 . I am not in the habit of reading e-mails before 0900 when I’m on holiday but glanced through to find it just before 0830. The lights and all electrics went out when one of our party was in the shower . Also as the water runs on a pump we had no water to drink or to flush the toilets I know these things happen but this was planned and I spoke to the owner the evening before and she never mentioned what we would face in the morning No cup of tea or coffee that day until 3 and no apology or bottled water or anything We will not be returning or recommending Bowjy Feels like the owners have taken their eye off the ball

Thank you for your feedback, Bowji is a 250 year old barn conversation which has had a recent revamp. There are multiple LED lights and lamps throughout the property to help light up the rooms. The sofa was recently replaced and has new cushions and throws for added comfort. we are sorry you had issues with a power cut during your stay however, this was unforeseen and we are glad to hear you received notification from the owners as soon as they found out. Should you have contacted us during your stay we would have been glad to help with any issues you had. Property Owner

We could get to anywhere in Cornwall within about 45 mins, just perfect for exploring all the attractions on offer in this beautiful part of the country. We would have no hesitation in returning if we are back in this part of the country again.

  • "We had a great holiday at Bowjy and it’s by far one of the best cottages we have stayed in."

It is very spacious, the hot tub is amazing and the scones, wine and roses where a great touch. Our children all voted to go back again so we have already booked a return visit next year.

  • "The location is perfect to relax and be away from hustle and bustle however close enough to travel to various places very close by and enjoy the towns and beaches."

The cottage is amazing, the hot tub is a fabulous extra to relax in whenever you like. We never felt having a dog was an issue and the area along with Pengally Ponds are beautiful for walking the dog. The cream teas, wine and flowers on arrival were very thoughtful and made the trip so worthwhile after a long journey. The only feedback and not a complaint as it's been far to nice here to complain about anything! was that the fence gap at the bottom of the enclosed garden was big enough for the dog to escape, she wanted to play with the lovely dogs living there. This is only because she is a smaller dog any others would not escape so dont let this put anyone off. We highly recommend this for couples, families and fur families and hope to book again, we were very sad to leave xx

  • "The cottage was outstanding,we had a lovely welcome from Sue and Paul and awaiting us in the cottage was a bottle of wine, a cream tea and fresh flowers."

The cottage was really comfortable with nice furnishings and an extremely well equipped kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Outside the cottage was our own large hot tub which was superb, a lovely rattan seating area and table. There was also a lovely seating area, fire pit and patio heater in the grounds. Sue and Paul have thought of everything you need for a really lovely stay. Thank you so much, as it was a stay with our family to celebrate my 70th birthday it couldn't have been better.

The cottage was warm, very comfortable and lots of space. The hot tub was definitely a big hit. We would love to come back and do some more exploring around the area, especially Falmouth such a lovely town and the surrounding beaches and coves. We certainly came back with some lovely memories. Thank you.
