  • "Just returned from staying at the beautiful Demelza cottage."

My husband and I decided to escape the stresses of Christmas and head down to Cornwall for the festive period. It was the best holiday we’ve ever had! The cottage was clean, warm and cosy and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Maureen was a lovely host and left toys and treats for our two dogs on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The cottage was very central to Truro, Falmouth and local beach and attractions. We will definitely be back again

  • "The property was absolutely beautiful."

Maureen was so helpful and friendly and had really thought of everything that you may need. So many useful items included ‘just in case’, you needed them , from a sewing kit, iron & ironing board, electric clothes rack/dryer, hairdryer and electric fan to bathroom products that you may have forgotten to pack. The hot tub was lovely to relax in and it was such a quiet and peaceful location . A lovely large, enclosed garden and plenty of parking right next to the cottage too. We had a great week - see you again next year ☺️

  • "From the moment we got there till we left Maureen was on hand to help us with anything we needed."

Was really informative about the area and what we could do and was only a phone call away if we needed anything. Cottage was 1st class, clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We went with our 2 kids 16 and 15 and are dog, and all were made to feel welcome, dog was even provided with his own treats and toys so he was happy. Garden was massive snd secure so he had a ball. Hot tub was a god send as weather was not the best but with Maureen's advice we were busy all week visiting places we would not of done without her help, then hit the hot tub at night. Cottage was in such a quiet location so chilling at night was so easy. Honestly could not fault the Cottage or the owners, both first class. Thank you Maureen for letting us stay at your amazing property. Hoping to come back again soon.

A very big thank you to Maureen and John. We travelled down to Cornwalll from Yorkshire and after a long drive were delighted to receive such welcome gifts not only in the form of a Cornish cream tea for my wife and I but super goodies for our two daughters and our dogs. First impressions still count today as they have always counted, Maureen has got it spot on! The cottage was immaculate and the kids and dogs loved the garden and the hot tub was enjoyed in the evening after a day on the beach. This is a fantastic property and one we will certainly aim to return to.

The cottage is perfect. We have two small children (3 and 6 months) and the cottage and owner Maureen provided us with everything we needed. The perfect place to stay if you have small children. The cottage was immaculately clean and the hot tub was a bonus In an evening when the children were in bed. The cottage is within half an hour or so of most places and is nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of tourist hotspots. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this cottage.

Maureen is a wonderful host, with lots of helpful tips and our two girls were so excited at the lovely and imaginative goodies left for them! The cottage is lovely and very well equipped, with lots of little extra touches that make all the difference. It’s also very comfortable to relax in and with the two en suite bathrooms we never felt on top of each other as a family of four. The hot tub is amazing and the decking was great to allow us to relax and eat outside too. It also all feels nicely secluded and is lovely and quiet whilst being within easy reach of both coasts and plenty of towns, villages and landmarks. Thank you again Maureen for a really wonderful holiday.
