“Shower door difficult to open. ...”

    Shower door difficult to open.

Shower door difficult to open. Lighting poor. Too weak. Bottom of doors need planing, difficult to open and close. 2 dishwasher tablets is not enough. Despite the above, which are small grouses, the house is great.

The property

Sitting in the grounds of Trenython Manor Hotel and Spa in the South Cornwall harbour town of Fowey, this superbly presented lodge has wonderful countryside views across to the coastline of St Austell Bay.

There are two spacious and light bedrooms, the twin having the benefit of an en-suite bathroom.

Walk into the open plan kitchen and living area and you will find all the mod cons to rustle up a tasty meal and comfortable sofas in which to relax in the evenings.

The decking area outside is ideal for enjoying a cool drink while you watch the children playing and making friends on the shared lawns.

Just inland from Fowey’s fabulous waterside resort, the beautiful grounds have some wonderful on-site, shared facilities.

An indoor heated pool is perfect for the whole family and there is a hi-tech gym for working off last night's evening meal at the restaurant/bar.

The woodland adventure play area and indoor playroom will guarantee to keep the children happy whatever the weather.

Fowey is a picturesque haven favoured by the yacht-set and host to Regatta Week and the Daphne du Maurier Festival.

Browse through art galleries and boutiques, then stop for lunch at one of the traditional inns found dotted along the cobbled lanes and around the harbour.

Hop on a boat for a pleasure trip or take the ferry ride across to Polruan.

Par Sands is a popular choice for swimmers and families with its shallow waters at low tide and Readymoney Cove has a small sheltered sandy beach.

For walking enthusiasts, the coastal path delivers some outstanding views.

Ideally placed for visiting the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan or the pretty ports of Charlestown and Mevagissey, families, friends and couples can enjoy both a restful and recreational break.
