  • "Had a lovely stay thankyou."

Apartment was well equipped, spacious and well furnished. Arrival was marred by the parking space already occupied but the Company via the owner resolved it within 20 minutes. Not the owners fault but must be annoying when a neighbouring agent decides to use the parking space. If you like a dark bedroom, I suggest a piece of fabric is taken to tuck behind the shutters to keep the light out. The apartment is in a great location to use as a base to visit both N. Cornwall and South Cornwall resorts. Particularly enjoyed visiting Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel, Padstow and Fowey. Great to have 2 supermarkets and a cinema 5 minutes walk away. If you want to visit The Stepping Stone restaurant, do book as very popular. Never got round to walking the Camel Trail...maybe next time!

  • "Thanks for the milk, flowers and wine on arrival, a nice surprise."

The flat was lovely and clean and had all that you need. Bit disappointed as no dvd player even though it was listed and smart tv very good.Beds very comfy but a king size in main bedroom would be better for two bigger adults. Also the fire alarm kept flashing very brightly in kids bedroom throughout each night which our son complained about. The flat is well situated and we enjoyed our stay with lovely views over the river.

Thank you for taking the time to complete your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed the property. We will check the DVD player, this may have been removed when the Smart TV was installed but we will double check. The alarm in the twin bedroom is actually a carbon monoxide monitor and it needs to be in this room as this is where the boiler is located. We haven't previously received any comments from guests that the light kept them awake. We are very pleased that you had a good stay and enjoyed the lovely views from the property. Property Owner

Large rooms well decorated and equipped with some lovely pictures. Only faults were 1. Smelly bathroom 2. Bathroom tiles need re-grouting 3. Car park place is very tight for a large cae

Thank you for taking the time to complete your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed the cottage and its location. We have investigated the smell in the bathroom and it was found that there was a small leak under the bath which has now been dealt with. The drains have also been cleared. Our housekeeper will be carrying out a deep clean at the property, so will sort the bathroom tiles. We do hope than maybe one day we will be able to welcome you back to the cottage. Property Owner

  • "We had a really nice stay here for the last week of the summer holidays, the property had a lovely shower, it was nice and spacious, a very good location for access to all the main roads, shops and beaches etc."

It was clean and some milk and a few tea bags were left for our arrival + some wine which was very thoughtful. A few problems we had that would prevent a future stay for us were a lack of drying area,s for our wet beach items each day, being an apartmentmnet there is no outside space or balcony in which to hang wet clothing towels etc, there is one bent airer drier that does not provide adequate room for drying 4 peoples towels each day, plus we had to us the same drying rack to dry our towels we used for showing each day on the same small rack, it was mentioned in a previous review that is was an issue, I ignored that review thinking it can't be that bad, but it was really quiet hard work each day, some days we just had to take our wet towels to the beach as we couldn't get them dry because we had no where to hang them. Perhaps a tumble dryer is necessary it would have solved all of this problem or at least two airer driers to hang wet items on.

  • "This was our second visit to the apartment, we took our bikes this time was really good to bike the camel trail instead of walking, Ideal base to visit other places like Port Isaac, Boscastle, St Ives, etc."

Apartment very clean, furnishing exceptional, would definitely recommend, only negative comments, the shower could do with a bit of an upgrade, the toilet seat needs adjusting or replacing as it doesn’t fit properly (was the same when we visited in 2015) and could do with a new toaster as it doesn’t toast well even on the highest setting, but that didn’t spoil our stay and would stay again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback, your comments have been taken on board. Property Owner

Just as clean as ever apart from 1 silverfish on the bathroom floor We we’re only provided with 1 set of towels We were expecting our grandchildren to come and stay for a couple of nights but as it happened they did not so due to other commitments If they had we would have needed the towels There was a chipped glass tumbler in the cupboard ( we did not do this ) but as there was only the two of us that did not matter I did 1 lot of washing but still could not manage to get the tumble dryer to work I do not have one at home so need step by step instructions please for next time This is our 3rd stay at Harbour house and will not be our last

  • "The parking which is provided with the accommodation is only suitable if you have anything larger than a Ford fiesta."

The concrete pillars are quite an obstacle. To the point the parking space was unusable for our vehicle. It should also not be assumed if there is 2 people staying that they are a couple as on arrival we needed to make an additional single bed to accommodate our party dynamics. The outside light near the keyboxes wasn't working either so tricky to see the numbers to activate the box. Overall a comfortable stay and we would use apartment again when visiting Wadebridge.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you struggled with the parking. Lots of cars of that size have parked comfortably before, we have even had a 4 x 4 park there! We would always urge guests to contact us with specific bed configuartions/requirements ahead of their stay. The owner will speak to the management company about the outside light. - The Cornish Cottage Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "Property was very good and an ideal location, but I have marked down the cleaniness due to dirty laundry being left from the previous occupancy for a week."

As a side note, the clothes horse kept collapsing so would suggest you need a new one of those. Also, you might want to consider an additional one (i.e. two in total) as we struggled for drying space (especially with beach towels etc)

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear there was a delay in collecting the linen from the property. I can see once contact was made with our customer service team this was collected promptly. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the property. Property Owner

  • "Really enjoyed our stay at Harbour House Apartments, this was a fantasic find and we feel very fortunate to have found it!"

Wadebridge was not known to us previously but turned out to be the perfect base to explore Notth Cornwall, especially our favourite spots around Padstow and Rock. The town has many great features, nice shops, restaurants and bike rental to name but a few. The apartment was perfect for us (family of four), with everything we needed. We were slightly concerned about parking based on comments in the reviews, but really needn’t have been. If you’ve parked in basement car parks in London or other cities it is actually quite spacious - the space itself is quite tight but you have room to manoeuvre and as long as your passengers disembark beforehand it is manageable. We got our Discovery Sport in and out without issue several times most days. We would not hesitate to return, this is now our first choice for Cornwall breaks!

  • "The bed was very comfortable but the sofas were not!"

Lots of cleaning equipment was provided, which was great, but maybe advertise this so that people don't care loads of there own there. The windows barely opened and it was a warm week! Perhaps a few fans would make for a more pleasant stay? We could not park out car in the car parking space and get out!

  • "Upon arrival we were greeted with a pile of dirty towels in the corner of one of the rooms."

The bed linen also looked unclean as there were numerous body hairs and even stains on the sheets. I was not overly impressed with this as the stay wasn't exactly on the cheaper side. Normally you would expect to be sleeping on clean sheets when you pay this sort of price.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We sincerely apologise for this miscommunication with our cleaner regarding the dates of your booking and can assure you that this has never happened before. If you had let us know when you arrived, we would have acted immediately. • "We enjoyed our holiday and we found Wadebridge to be a good base to visit many of the local coastal areas."

We have been visiting Cornwal for more than 40 years, using rental cottages as a base for the past 10 years. The apartment was clean, warm and provided most of the facilities that we have become used to whilst on holiday. We appreciate that basic provisions are not guaranteed but this is the first time that we have had to buy some basics on day one (tea, coffee bags, oven foil). There was milk (out of date) and a bottle of wine provided, but some obvious gaps. The bath towels could do with replacing.

Wadebridge turned out to be a lovely location to travel to and from, places such as Port Isaac, Tintagel, Padstow, Bodmin, and St Austel are all within easy reach and so beautiful with many other attractions on route. Lovely break.

  • "We very much enjoyed staying in the apartment, it is comfortable, modern, light and well equipped, with a very central location in Wadebridge next to the old bridge and close to the restaurants (we enjoyed Stepping Stone and the Tiny Thai) and shops and the Camel Trail (we cycled to Padstow, and then took the ferry to Rock, and also to Bodmin, and then visited the Bodmin & Wenford Steam Railway)."

Wadebridge is a good base for exploring this part of Cornwall. We found parking our Vauxhall Zafira in the allocated space in the underground car park to be very difficult. As others have said, the space, between a pillar and the wall, is narrow, but parking in the space is made even harder by the position of another pillar in the middle of the car park and when there are cars parked in the opposite spaces. Two of the bins had not been emptied from the previous occupants when we arrived.

  • "For us it was the best site yet both for position and facilities."

The only down side was the underground parking. Due to supporting pillars our 'C Max' had to be manoeuvred into the parking space made more difficult if the opposite bay was occupied. The car is 2.07mtrs allowing approximately 5cms either side when parking between the wall and the pillar. Anything larger wouldn't get parked.
