  • "Excellent property in quite area yet close to beaches."

Would definitely stop again. Only criticism is late check in 5pm yet check out 9am this is now getting ridiculous so prices should reflect this.

  • "Beautiful spotless apartment with lovely extra touches, biscuits and milk."

Kitchen well equipped but could do with more crockery as only had 4 of everything, 8 would have been perfect in order to fill dishwasher. Mattresses in second bedroom very hard, maybe a memory foam mattress topper would help there. Having said this the apartment was lovely and felt very homely, good location and would definitely recommend to family and friends. Owner very nice and friendly, other staff also very friendly.

  • "The apartment was exactly as listed, clean modern and well kept."

We even had more than expected when is came to facilities, for example over gloves, tea towels, and some cleaning bits to get you started. Things like a TV in each room (smart tv's too so very well specced) and decent storage really made the stay very homely. There are high quality fixtures, such as a dyson cordless Vac, ironing facilities and also a SONOS speaker, all things that make the stay just that bit more comfortable. The village setting is nice and peaceful and in close proximity to many local amenities, and a good base to explore what Cornwall has to offer. We would definitely stay here again, looking forward to seeing the completion of the new lodges onsite! Our only observations which would make the stay even better: - Double Bed in the master room, a Kingsize would fit in here and would have made the apartment just that little bit more comfortable (we are used to a Superking, so found this quite a step down) - Parking - although there was enough, the parking is quite tight at the rear of the properties and up a slope. Its manageable, but larger cars can be harder to turn around if you get back and there are several already parked.

  • "Brilliant place to stay."

Far enough out of Padstow to get away from the crowds but easy to get to if you want to visit. Clean, comfy, modern and warm. Would fully reccomend.

  • "The master bedroom had a double bed when a king size would have fitted easily, at 6 foot 2 I was too big for this short and narrow bed which meant my wife and i didn't sleep very well."

This seems like a strange cost saving when the rest of the apartment was so well appointed.

  • "Immaculately presented apartment, very stylish and generally well equipped."

The underfloor heating was effective and pretty easy to control. The bed was comfortable and having a cantilever mounted tv in all three rooms was appreciated. All rooms had good lighting, no problems reading wherever you were. Only two gripes were that glasses, mugs and chinaware were all limited to just four pieces so we kept running out well before the full size dishwasher was filled up and ready to run. The sofa and armchair both looked great but proved uncomfortable when you sat on them for any length of time. However we'd still recommend this as a place to stay.

The location is very good and the folks that run things there are both friendly and good at their jobs. Always prepared to listen and act if you have any questions.
