Perfectly located for touring one of the most beautiful and desirable areas of Cornwall, this quirky 200 year old terraced fisherman’s cottage is situated in a quiet road in the old market town of Wadebridge.
With the town also being the centre point of the ever popular Camel trail and the glorious beaches of Polzeath, Rock and Padstow all being within a short drive, there will always be so much to do here with something for everyone.
There is off street parking for 2 cars in front of the cottage.
Through the front door, to your left you will find a cosy sitting-room and straight ahead you have a living/dining area furnished with arm chairs and still fitted with the original bread oven and with an open fire, adding to the character and ideal for the cooler evenings.
At the back of this room there is a dining table and through a door on your left of the dining area you will find the well equipped kitchen which leads out to a patio with a table and chairs.
Steps leading up from this patio take you to the terraced garden, with a washing line on the top terrace.
Up the original stairs, to your left and right you have the twin and double bedrooms.
At the back of the cottage there is a single bedroom a family bathroom and a separate shower room.
As is typical of cottages of this age, Willow Cottage features beams, low ceilings and there are 2 additional steps from the double bedrooms up to the bathroom area.
The doorways into one of the bedrooms has an angled lintel, following the line of the ceiling.
A short walk will take you into Wadebridge with an excellent choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs as well as one of Cornwall's favourite pasty shops.
The town is also the hub for the Camel trail.
Cycle hire is available so you have the opportunity to enjoy spectacular scenery whilst winding alongside the estuary to Padstow or, for the more adventurous cyclists, up into the hills of Bodmin Moor to Blisland where an excellent moorland pub will provide refreshment before the journey home.
