    “Loved Cyprus.”

It is really full of light and spacious. Huge bathroom. Well equipped. Enjoyed the gardens which still have a lot of flowers, and local walks.

The property

Delightful for a couple seeking a relaxing break and lots of space. Furnished in a light and elegant contemporary style, The Cyprus Flat is set within a lovely Georgian rectory in the heart of Cornwall. It is ideally situated for touring Cornwall's wild North Coast and the gentle fishing villages of the South Coast. Feel free to wonder around the grounds, where you can bring the bistro table and chairs provided for your use to enjoy a quiet spot within three acres of flower-filled gardens and beech woods once visited by Queen Mary. Locally, there's lots to do with moorland and woodland walks right on the doorstep, magnificent gardens, the Camel Trail for walking and cycling, horse-riding, wonderful grand houses and fascinating archaeology all nearby.

You enter your apartment by passing through a grand hallway and stairs, to be greeted by the bright and airy living room with its fresh colour schemes.

The kitchen is new and well-equipped.

Enjoy the comfortable sofa and views over the oval lawn.

Delight in the original paintings and other items by Cornish artists and artisans, and browse the library in the roomy hallway. The bathroom has a lovely shower and a bath for enjoying a long soak after a day at the beach.

As the evening draws to a close, retire to the double bedroom, offering a king-size double bed and views over lawns and beech woodland. The Cyprus Flat is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

About the location

BODMIN MOOR

Bodmin 7 miles; Launceston 14 miles

The vast and rugged Bodmin Moor, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, forms over 150 square miles of striking, rocky landscape, with much of it declared a Site of Specific Scientific Importance. This ancient location is home to mystical standing stones, old buildings dating from medieval times and thousands of years’ worth of tin mining heritage. There are plenty of beautiful walks to discover, with challenging climbs up some of the tallest spots in Cornwall, offering fantastic far-reaching views towards both the north and south coast on fine days. The nearby town of Launceston, fondly thought of as the Gateway to Cornwall, can be found to the north east, with beautiful Georgian buildings set around its central square, and romantic ruins of a Norman castle at the outskirts. In the other direction, the historic town of Bodmin lies to the south west, with a host of exciting attractions including its Courtroom Experience, the Bodmin Jail, the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, or a trip to see each of the seven holy wells, which lie dotted around the town. Ancient Jamaica Inn, which lies in the heart of the moor, brims with smuggling and pirate history; almost 300 years old, it's celebrated in Daphne du Maurier’s popular novel and is well worth a visit. With much to see and do, and stunning scenery all around, Bodmin Moor is a delightful destination for your holiday.
