  • "Porth beach house was perfect for our family beach holiday."

Enough space for our family of four to spread out and relax. Within minutes you were on the sand playing by the sea. Just fantastic! The accommodation was well equipped. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked again for next year.

Thank you so much for your feedback, we are delighted that you enjoyed the house and beach location, looking forward to your return next year. Thank you xx Property Owner

  • "Fantastic location, comfortable and just what we were looking for!"

Neighbours was really friendly and helpful with local suggestions. Mermaid Inn does great food and takeaway so you can take back to the house if ya need to. A good Thai takeaway that does delivery is called Sawai Thai, on porth beach there is also a small hole in the wa that serves drinks and ice cream etc. Opposite the mermaid Inn (1 min walk from house) there's another bar, coffee shop and small shop full of lovely stuff). Will def return, a great week in a great house on a great child friendly beach.

Thank you so much for your feedback.. we are delighted that you had a great holiday and hope you made lots of lovely family memories. Property Owner

  • "Great location for access to the beach and buses to Newquay and Padstow."

The beach at Porth is fantastic! The house is as described and shown in the photos. I brought pre-cooked, frozen meals with us and was very thankful I took our electric cooler box as the fridge is a small undercounted fridge. Would definitely book again.

  • "A lovely terrace property, access off main road via pub car park."

Fantastic views of the beach from the main bedroom window and ground floor patio. The house came equipped with everything you would need including - towels, cutlery, cleaning supplies etc... The cream tea was a lovely welcoming touch. The beach at Porth was one of the best I've ever been on. My only gripe was with the parking, which was an allocate space, but the car parking is very tight, especially for a big car and up a very steep hill.

  • "The family and I had a lovely stay here for a week at the end of July."

The house was clean and had everything we needed and felt like our home away from home. The photos show the house how it is but somehow don’t seem to do it justice. Being right next to the beach is amazing and definitely one of the best things about this property. It was great to have the sea views and to be able to sit outside to eat. The beach was family friendly, not too busy, and even though the tide went out quite a way it was still great. There are also lovely walks to be had and magnificent views to see. The Mermaid Inn pub opposite did food that was more than acceptable as well as reasonably priced and we ate here a few times. It was also not too noisy and neither was the sound from the road, which was also close. Overall we were really happy with our stay and may indeed book here again the next time we holiday in Cornwall.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback, we are delighted that you enjoyed your Cornish holiday at Porth. Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed our holiday at Porth Beach House, in a great location, bright and airy and very clean."

We did cut our holiday short due to the Lockdown, but that was our choice! The only little niggle and it was little, was the rug in the sitting room...Odd patches of the rug looked faded /stained, tho clean, it spoiled a nice room! Rachael was very helpful with directions, and the welcome scones jam and cream was a nice touch! We would certainly return again

  • "Porth Beach House was absolutely perfect for us, Pub and Beach on our doorstep, Newquay a 20 minute walk away, a Bus stop to Padstow just around the bend, and a little further on, the beginning of a fabulous walk out to Porth Island and on to a lovely walk along cliff top paths to Watergate and beyond."

The house is thoughtfully provided with beach equipment, and the kitchen lacks for nothing, right down to a Cafetiere and Garlic press, and welcome gifts were indeed very welcome. I thoroughly recomend.

The property

Located on the beach front, this modern terraced house provides contemporary accommodation in the quiet resort of Porth, just two miles from Newquay on the North Cornish coast.

With this beautiful cove right on your doorstep along with beach cafes and a pub, this is a fabulous choice for a beachside family holiday.

Shades of seaside blue make the two lovely bedrooms on the first floor fresh and welcoming; spectacular views across the cove and down to the sea can be enjoyed from the master bedroom.

Downstairs the sitting area is spacious and comfortable with plenty of light coming through the floor to ceiling windows and a door leading out to a railed, decked balcony where you can enjoy your favourite meal having prepared it in the fully equipped kitchen.

Newquay is famous for its 7 miles of golden sands in this breathtaking stretch of coastline along with the surfing waves of Watergate Bay, home to the Extreme Water Sports Academy and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurant.

Follow the trail of discs sunk into the ground around Newquay and discover the town’s heritage from fishing port to surf mecca or take a boat trip from the harbour and admire Newquay from the sea.

A little further away, you can hire pedalos and canoes and row across the boating lake at Trenance Park with its 26 acres of gardens, children’s play area and crazy golf.

A wonderful choice for a family holiday whether you wish to relax and unwind or explore this fabulous area of Cornwall.
