  • "Lovely little apartment, very clean and well equipped."

A few nice extra touches like flowers and a cream tea on arrival, and a steady stream of information from the property manager.... always providing what I needed to know just before I asked ! We stayed in low season (April), so nothing was too crowded locally, but almost everything open, and the apartment was perfectly located as a base for visits. Only negative, the outside of the property/terrace area could do with a lick of paint and is a bit off-putting on arrival, but once inside it's very different. Plenty of parking and feels safe.

Thank you very much for your positive review. We really appreciate that you have highlighted the initial appearance of property and the decking area in particular. We will rectify this as soon as we are able. We hope to welcome you back one day soon. Property Owner

  • "The holiday home was perfect for us and our little dogs."

Spotlessly clean with lots of extras, the cream tea was a lovely surprise and treats for the dogs. We did use the car every day as our mobility is not as good as it was which was not a problem, however as mentioned by others some noise from upstairs can be heard, it's good to now that the owners are doing their best to solve it .

  • "Lovely bolthole for a week away."

Spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed, we felt very comfortable and the pre-arrival communications made us feel very welcome. Would definitely return! One thing to note (as others have) - there can be a lot of noise transference from the apartment above. It didn't bother us much (aside from somebody scraping a chair across the floor at 6:15 one morning!), but may be something to bear in mind for others (particularly if you're a light sleeper or early to bed!).

Thank you so much for your positive review and we are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Your feedback is very helpful. I have been in touch with the owner of the apartment upstairs and they are looking at a way of deadening the chair scraping noises. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was lovely and light."

Very clean. It had everything we needed and more which is not listed. Hair dryer, iron, ironing board, hoover, brushes, fridge freezer. Plenty of hot water. Outdoor seating, comfy chairs and table, large wooden bench and a bistro table and chairs. We had read a previous review with regards to privacy (people walking up the stairs to carpark) There are blinds on the windows and a useful stable door. We didn't find it a problem at all. The only issue we had was someone with a dog upstairs who played ball and we could hear the dog running across the floor and the ball constantly being bounced on the floor which was irritating. But we can not fault the cottage at all. We would not hesitate to book this cottage again.

Very clean and comfortable, nicely done inside, We did choose for the our door space but realised very quickly that anyone else staying was using the steps to go to the car park which run parallel with the property, leaning over into the terrace to touch our dog, watching us eat, and worse still staring in through the Windows so you didn't get much privacy, ,

  • "We were greeted with a cream tea and a bag of groceries as we'd come by public transport."

There were flowers in the rooms. It was very suitable for a couple with excellent new facilities for cooking if we wished. It was accessible for public transport and reliable buses to Newquay and Padstow. The beach was quite near though with a steep hill to climb on the way. Number 9 felt especially loved by Carol, the owner, so it had a congenial atmosphere. It was also a good base for outings to interesting nearby places and there was a convenience store very near, also a swimming pool, outdoor as well in the season. There was also a coastal path to explore.

The small beach at Porth is within a 5 minute walk and lots more beaches either a 5/10 minute drive or a cliff top walk away. Only 2 miles from Newquay if a more lively scene is what you are after. This was our first visit to Cornwall and we visited somewhere different every day with our two dogs, where we received a warm welcome from everyone. We will definitely return to Cornwall and Trevelgue.

The above neighbours were noisy all the time . The picture do not reflect how small it is and the seating area is a waste of time as no views etc we struggled to find the apartment as no street lighting as in the back of beyond it’s a mile and half from the only two bars no shops at all misrepresented in the brochure advert and the nearest shop is 2.9 miles away .the apart no good for people who find it hard to walk as two big hill to walk up and down not mentioned in brochure . The apartment needed a good clean as we went round cleaning cobwebs off things and dirt is ground in on skirting board in the bathroom .A bit outdated furnishings .
