The property

This cosy ground floor apartment is situated in a valley just outside Porth, two miles from Newquay.

Ideal for a romantic break away, this apartment is perfectly located for those who love to relax on the beach or go walking along the coast as just a short walk away are both Porth and Whipsiderry beaches, as well as the South West Coast Path.

When you arrive at this lovely little apartment and see the fresh contemporary décor, you can't help but feel as if you've been transported to the Mediterranean; both inside and out.

The relaxed open plan layout has been tastefully furnished to ensure that you have all you need for a holiday beside the sea.

Inside you will find a bright and airy king-size double bedroom, a shower room and a well-equipped open plan living area with a comfy sofa, ideal for chilling out after a day exploring the south west coast or enjoying a host of watersports at the nearby beaches.

Venture outside and you'll find that the private decked area provides the perfect space to enjoy a cup of coffee whist planning your Cornish adventure.

Not forgetting your four-legged friends, directly behind the apartment is a lovely walk through fields, offering exercise for all.

When you decide to leave this splendid apartment, although there are quite a few steps to be taken to the reach the glorious Whipsiderry Beach, you’ll be justly rewarded for your efforts when you discover the large cliffs sheltering this surprisingly quiet and breathtakingly beautiful beach, voted in the top 20 of Europe's best beaches by the Sunday Times.

Also close by is the tranquil Porth Beach, one of the safest for swimming in the Newquay area and a delightful walk along the coastal path will take you to prestigious Watergate Bay, home to many watersports activities and fine restaurants for you to sample.

Indeed, if you catch the tide at its lowest it is possible to walk to Watergate Bay entirely along the beach from Porth or Whipsiderry, a wonderful journey that will not be easily forgotten.

With walking and touring opportunities aplenty, Trevelgue offers a comfortable base from which to explore the south west coast all year round.

About the location

Newquay 1.3 miles; Truro 15 miles.

Porth is a small seaside village on the outskirts of Newquay. The village offers a shop, cafes, restaurants and a pub on the sandy beach, plus nearby is the South West Coast Path, which boasts spectacular scenery. Watergate Bay, with its rolling waves, surf schools, cafe and pubs, is a short walk away, and the popular resort of Newquay with its beaches, watersports, pubs, restaurants, zoo and aquarium is well worth a visit. Fistral Beach and surf centre are three miles west of Porth, whilst the surf training school at Lusty Glaze Beach is actually within the village. The charming fishing village of Padstow, along with Bodmin Moor, the city of Truro, Falmouth and the world-famous Eden Project are all within easy reach, making Porth an ideal base for a Cornish getaway.
