Cottage had everything we needed and the flowers, cream tea and doggy treats were appreciated by all upon arrival. Fantastic location - a short 15 minute walk from the beach and pub (also a bar less than 5 min walk away). Had a lovely coastal stroll into Newquay a couple of times too. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for your feedback Michelle. I am very pleased that you were happy with the welcome you received. The attention to detail and the location of Trevelgue is often the reason our guests return to us. We hope to welcome you back very soon. Property Owner

Hi Joanne. Thank you very much for this feedback and 100% score. It is very helpful to hear that you and Floyd were happy at Trevelgue. The beaches and footpaths are a wonderful part of the apartments charm. We would love to welcome you both again sometime. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay at trevelgue The cottage was clean and well equipped and the owners went out of their way to accommodate us with doggy treats and a lovely cream tea awaiting us in the fridge."

A well put together information book was also provided. The book did mention the possibility of "some" noise from the cottage above as it has obviously been an issue before. Unfortunately we must of stayed when a formation tap dancing team were staying there as absolutely no thought was given to the residence below. This was our only complaint about trevelgue but it was enough to make us reconsider returning .

Thank you for your very generous comments about all things you enjoyed about Trevelgue. I am so very sorry that you experienced such disturbance from the property above. We have very good communication with the owner of this property who will take action to ensure his guests are respectful of all neighbours if he is aware of the problem. I will ensure that this is highlighted in our information folder so that others do not have to endure anything similar. Property Owner

  • "Lovely little cottage, comfortable cosy and warm."

Great location, especially being close to fields where we walked our dog. Well equipped ( although I couldn't find chopping/ bread board)..But not a big issue. On the downside...the second lot of visitors in the upstairs cottage where very noisy...seemed to be walking about a lot..making us need to turn up the tv. However again this wasn't such a big problem. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Thank you. Your feedback is important to us.We will ensure the chopping board is in a more convenient position for future guests. It is unfortunate that footfall from upstairs was audible during your stay. I have contacted the owner and asked that he remind guests to remove their shoes when they are inside. I am pleased that none of this affected your enjoyment of Trevelgue. We hope you will stay with us again in the future.. Property Owner

  • "Lovely little apartment, very clean and well equipped."

A few nice extra touches like flowers and a cream tea on arrival, and a steady stream of information from the property manager.... always providing what I needed to know just before I asked ! We stayed in low season (April), so nothing was too crowded locally, but almost everything open, and the apartment was perfectly located as a base for visits. Only negative, the outside of the property/terrace area could do with a lick of paint and is a bit off-putting on arrival, but once inside it's very different. Plenty of parking and feels safe.

Thank you very much for your positive review. We really appreciate that you have highlighted the initial appearance of property and the decking area in particular. We will rectify this as soon as we are able. We hope to welcome you back one day soon. Property Owner

Spotlessly clean with lots of extras, the cream tea was a lovely surprise and treats for the dogs. We did use the car every day as our mobility is not as good as it was which was not a problem, however as mentioned by others some noise from upstairs can be heard, it's good to now that the owners are doing their best to solve it .

Spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed, we felt very comfortable and the pre-arrival communications made us feel very welcome. Would definitely return! One thing to note (as others have) - there can be a lot of noise transference from the apartment above. It didn't bother us much (aside from somebody scraping a chair across the floor at 6:15 one morning!), but may be something to bear in mind for others (particularly if you're a light sleeper or early to bed!).

Thank you so much for your positive review and we are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Your feedback is very helpful. I have been in touch with the owner of the apartment upstairs and they are looking at a way of deadening the chair scraping noises. Property Owner

Very clean. It had everything we needed and more which is not listed. Hair dryer, iron, ironing board, hoover, brushes, fridge freezer. Plenty of hot water. Outdoor seating, comfy chairs and table, large wooden bench and a bistro table and chairs. We had read a previous review with regards to privacy (people walking up the stairs to carpark) There are blinds on the windows and a useful stable door. We didn't find it a problem at all. The only issue we had was someone with a dog upstairs who played ball and we could hear the dog running across the floor and the ball constantly being bounced on the floor which was irritating. But we can not fault the cottage at all. We would not hesitate to book this cottage again.

The picture do not reflect how small it is and the seating area is a waste of time as no views etc we struggled to find the apartment as no street lighting as in the back of beyond it’s a mile and half from the only two bars no shops at all misrepresented in the brochure advert and the nearest shop is 2.9 miles away .the apart no good for people who find it hard to walk as two big hill to walk up and down not mentioned in brochure .
