  • "Good location, lovely clean cosy cottage, 7 of us were very comfortable."

Thank you for a lovely stay ☺️

  • "Property layout did not work for our group, primarily the living accommodation on the first floor & bedrooms on the ground floor caused problems with people enjoying a "lay in" in the mornings being disturbed by movement of the floor above."

When early risers were using the kitchen/lounge, this caused loud creaking/banging of the wooden floor. Also the advertisement indicated that the property had numerous dvd/games/books on site but these had been removed by the owner on the advice of Sykes, due to covid restrictions. This was not apparent until arrival on site. There was no advance warning from Sykes that this had been done, had we have known, we would have transported these to site for entertainment for the children.

  • "Beautiful cottage in a quiet location."

The cottage was exceptionally clean with modern kitchen appliances. The living room was spacious and comfy. Perfect for a group of 6. Would thoroughly recommend and return ourselves.

  • "Fantastic, comfortable property in a rural, peaceful countryside location."

Nicky the owner was very helpful and even contacted us about an item we left behind at the end of our stay. Would highly recommend staying here and I don’t think it will be our last visit.

  • "Found the bathroom very dark, perhaps more lighting could be added."

For gentlemen difficulty shaving. Also the shower room was a bit of a squeeze for adults and tall people. The steps coming down from the garden needs a hand rail as each step was quite deep.

  • "A beautiful cottage with everything you could ask for, including a welcome pack of goodies (Tea / Coffee / Milk / Biscuits and Cream Teas) which were really appreciated after a long journey to Cornwall."

The cottage was of a high standard, all facilities included in good working order and the cottage itself was clean, tidy and very comfortable; a real home from home. The owners (who live next door) were extremely friendly and on hand if you needed anything; they were very knowledgeable of the area and were able to recommend suitable places for us to visit that suited the whole family (age range from 6 to 81). Would highly recommend and happily return in future years.
