Mr Alterman “Very well appointed cottage.”
Had everything we needed for a four-night stay. Enjoyed walking to village. Close to Week St Mary and not far from Bude.

Mr Debellotte “We phoned the owners on two occasions as we needed the heating on and then after a spill more bedsheets .”
And they never replied we left a answer phone message for them to call us back but they didn’t so we had to buy an electric heater and sleep on dirty bed sheets !!! We had previously been instructed to only phone because of COVID 19 and darent Knock on their door . Can we have compensation for the inconvenience !
- Mr Debellotte, July 2020Mr White “The cottages are beautifully situated and fully equipped with everything you need.”
There are plenty of things for children on site, particularly the pool and games barn. There are good beaches within easy reach. John and Nikki were most welcoming and helpful. Altogether a perfect Cornish holiday. Gerry and Maeve White
- Mr White, July 2019Mrs Moore “Advertised as having a pets corner, apart from a rabbit in a hutch in the owners garden which had a sign saying keep out, and some lamas in a field which disappeared after 2 days, is misleading.”
The site is lacking some TLC, got the impression the owners are doing the minimum. Bathroom has no window, and the extractor fan does nothing to ventilate, looked like it hadn't been cleaned out in years, after showering unless you keep the front door open steam makes the downstairs bedroom and bedding damp. Cottage windows were filthy. The games room was lacking some cleaning, I could write my name in the dust on the table tennis table. Gardens were scruffy, lots of pots outside but some just full of grass. The downstairs bedrooms were decorated lovely, but the rest was disappointing.
- Mrs Moore, July 2019Miss Ryan “This was such a lovely holiday cottage, in a beautiful setting.”
The owners were so kind & helpful, we did not want to leave. The area is so lovely & relaxing we went to black rock beach twice as the kids loved it. Overall a great time was had by all. Thank you John & Nikki! Amy & family.

- Miss Stewart, September 2018Mr Mears “Owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make your holiday a success and are very family friendly, cottages are warm, clean and tidy with sea views, Children will love it especially as you can interact with the animals.”
its well worth a visit.
- Mr Mears, September 2016Mrs Taylor “Although Bluebell Cottage is classed as 3 Star it was far better than we expected.”
The cottage was extremely clean and well equipped and the location was peaceful with fantastic views. It had everything we wanted and more. Our three grandchildren aged 10, 12 and 13 absolutely loved it. They really enjoyed feeding the animals especially the alpacas. We would highly recommend any one of the five cottages at Bennetts Court and our thanks go to the owners, John and Nikki who were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a fantastic holiday full of memories.
- Mrs Taylor, August 2016Bennetts Court Cottages
Bennetts Court Holiday Cottages is a small group of five, situated on the owners' 11-acre site on the edge of the small Cornish village of Whitstone, near Bude. Converted from stone and cob barns, these Cornish cottages are approached along a private tree-lined drive and provide a peaceful escape to the countryside, where there are far-reaching views across glorious fields, offering a scenic escape like no other. Each cottage has its own garden area, from which you can enjoy a cuppa in the sun whilst watching the children play on the swings against a backdrop of rural tranquillity, planning a day on the beach. Alternatively, head out to discover the majesty of this wonderful region. Visit the gorgeous beaches at Widemouth Bay or Bude, and spend the day rock pooling, body boarding, surfing or walking the coastal path. The local Camel Trail is a long-distance path ideal for cycling, and the stretch between Wadebridge and Padstow is particularly popular. Why not take a trip out to sea on a boat, catch a foot passenger ferry over to Rock from Padstow or frequent the numerous farm shops, country inns and quaint Cornish villages, all of which are on the doorstep of this cosy Whitstone cottage?
