Has it's own parking space in a quiet residential area, but only a 5 minute walk to the beach & a 10-15 minute stroll to Sainsbury's & the town centre. Is well equipped & great with the floor to ceiling patio doors, making it light & with a nice view. Caretaker was very helpful when I needed help to work out the heating system. Will stay there again when next visiting Bude.

So close to the beach and all the amenities and easy to navigate around beautiful Cornwall and all it has to offer. Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, a real home from home, made for a stress free week.

House was lovely, very comfortable and clean. Living space might be a bit crowded with 6 adults but perfect for 2 or 4 or families with younger children. We had great weather so ideal location for dog walks on the beach or along the coastal path. Lovely not to have to always get in the car.

Main bed could do with an upgrade (not used the raised edges) other than that perfect!!! small issues just FYI, upstairs bathroom shower dripping, bath panel lose. fridge makes a high pitch noise (off putting while watching TV). Thank you

"Spacious modern house situated on the quieter side of Bude, less than 5 mins walk to Crooklets beach or to reach the coastal path along the cliff tops to the north of Bude."
Easy walk through open green space uphill to Sainsbury's or Co-op at the top of town and then down the main high street, to the canal and Castle areas. One parking space available directly outside the property at the end of the carports. But there was always a space for the second car on a nearby road, even in the school summer holidays. Well equipped accommodation with some added extras. Comfortable beds and great to have three showers, plus a washer, dryer and rotary dryer in the back garden. Good communication from Kelvin the caretaker. We had a lovely week in beautiful Bude despite the variable weather and definitely enhanced by the convenient location of The Loft. Highly recommended.

The property
This modern, semi-detached house sits quietly in a close just 400 yards from the vast expanse of golden sand and surf of Crooklets Beach in the friendly seaside town of Bude.
Brilliantly positioned for the beach and all the townÂ’s amenities, and with long views to Maers Down, this light, bright and neat holiday home provides all-year-round quality family accommodation.
On the ground floor, an entrance hall with plenty of space for hats, coats, boots and other paraphernalia, and a twin bedroom and a family shower room.

Tintagel 17 miles.
Bude is a fabulous coastal town that once visited you will want to come back to time and time again. Bude has something for everyone, great beaches for relaxing, and building sandcastles on, rockpools for investigating at low tide and cafes to watch it all from. The rolling waves are great for surfing all year round, and the footpaths by the restored canal or on the North Cornwall coastal path offer you a superb opportunity to explore and appreciate the outstanding countryside. Bude also has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and Heritage Centre at Bude Castle. It also has a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafes, pubs, restaurants and excellent Information Centre. Within a short drive are the remains of a huge iron age hill fort at Warbstow Bury, from where panoramic views can be seen. For days out, take the coast road north to see the lonely lighthouse above the sea at Hartland Point or walk or ride a donkey down the steep and cobbled village street (no cars allowed) of beautiful Clovelly to the harbour and the pub far below. Follow the coast in the other direction and there's the little cove of Crackington Haven, Boscastle, King Arthur's castle at Tintagel, Doc Martin's Port Wenn at Port Isaac and yet more great surfing beaches at Polzeath.
