Even the north coast can be reached in about three quarters of an hour. There are Aldi and Morrisons supermarkets within a couple of miles or so if you need them and Morrisons has a restaurant that stays open fairly late. There is The Hayloft restaurant about three miles away, slightly expensive but lovely food. SPAR in Menheniot does limited takeaway meals and we found it possible to get them back to the cottage whilst still hot. One minor problem with Skber Bugh is that there is no mobile phone signal which some might miss. However broadband internet is available.
