“Thank you for letting us stay in your gorgeous little cottge over Xmas.”

We had a wonderful time, no small thanks due to the factit is such a well appointed property and so well equipped. The heating worked, the lighting was good (so often terrible in holiday lets) and the kitchen perfect for our needs. We love your pictures and furnishings besides - far superior to most - the home has much a happy feel.

This property is part of the John Bray Cornish Holidays collection.
John Bray Cornish Holidays offers some of the best located self catering cottages and holiday homes in North Cornwall’s loveliest locations including Rock and Daymer Bay, on the Camel Estuary, and Polzeath and Port Isaac on the Atlantic coast.

The property

St Enodoc Cottage is a very attractive, detached holiday cottage set within a large south facing garden.

The property retains some original features and is furnished in a traditional style with room to sleep eight guests in four bedrooms with two bathrooms.

Two families could comfortably share this self-catering seaside retreat or perhaps a larger extended family or a group of friends.

Downstairs provides plenty of space for everyone with an open plan kitchen with dining area complete with a wood burner for wintry days.

There's also a useful utility room, great for picnic blankets, surfboards or buckets and spades.

The sun kissed sheltered garden has a charming terrace and plenty of spots to soak up the Cornish sun.

Daymer Bay beach is an idyllic spot to spend a day, sheltered by the sand dunes that surround it.

There are numerous gorgeous little inlets and coves alongside the bay where you can make camp and settle down for a sunbathe or a sandcastle competition.

About the location

DAYMER BAY

Daymer Bay and the village of Trebetherick were both loved by Sir John Betjeman and are unquestionably special. With a huge appeal to both the young and not so young, Daymer Bay has recently been voted one of the best beaches in the world! St. Enodoc Church, once buried in the sand, is within comfortable walking distance of Daymer Bay and is the resting place of Sir John Betjeman. Daymer Bay holds great appeal for wind surfers with the waves rolling up the estuary. There is enormous fun too for small children with buckets and spades and fishing in the rock pools. Up from the coast path as it runs from Daymer Bay is Highcliffe, nestling between Polzeath and Trebetherick, both of which boast a number of pubs, restaurants and village stores all offering a wide variety of fresh quality produce. The properties at Highcliffe have the advantage of being within easy reach of Daymer, Polzeath and Greenaway - Greenaway being the name given to the clifftop area, beach and small cove with rock pools overlooking the Atlantic beyond that lies between Daymer and Polzeath.
