  • "The best equipped holiday home I have ever stayed in, perfect for a family gathering of 6 adults and a dog."

    Right next to the stones, in a picture postcard setting. We did have a small issue with the front door lock on arrival, quickly resolved, just needed pulling forward and a bit of muscle turning the key. Only about a 5 mile round walk to Silbury Hill and West Kennet Long Barrow, and plenty of other walks around the village availiable, so once we were in the car didn't see much use.

When sleep calls, head to refresh with an indulgent soak in the bath before you tuck yourself in for a well-earned rest in one of the four sumptuous bedrooms, including a king-size with accompanying en-suite.

If you can tear yourself from your quaint new lodgings, head out on foot to explore your local area.

A brief walk from your front door will bring you to the Avebury Community Shop, which sells homely essentials; the Red Lion Pub where you can treat your loved ones to a hearty lunch; along with a range of must-visit spots.

The National Trust Museum is a stone’s throw from your new dwelling, as are the sites of the National Trust property; Avebury Manor and Dovecot, the Alexander Keiller Museum, Fishlock’s Cottage, the Avebury Monument, and the ancient Avebury Henge and Stone Circles.
