Week Farm is an extraordinary manor house and small country estate just 4 miles from the centre of Bath on the edge of the picture postcard Cotswold village of Coombe Hay and peacefully surrounded by its own acres of gardens and meadows.
Inside the entire house has been completely renovated and refurbished in a cool contemporary style making it a fabulous and luxurious backdrop for all sorts of celebrations, family gatherings and parties.
Inside there’s an exquisite formal living room with open fire, and a huge heart-of the-house kitchen dining room with a table large enough for up to 16 people to gather around.
The kitchen has a huge Aga plus a separate electric oven.
French windows from the kitchen swing open onto the large garden terrace (plenty of chairs and large table); wonderful for sundowners.
The kitchen is really well equipped and there’s a separate utility room plus downstairs WC.
From the kitchen folding doors open to reveal the large and bright morning room with comfortable seating, an open fire, and French doors to terrace.
If all the socialising becomes too much there's also a library to retreat to complete with open fire and books.
The sofa converts to a double bed in the library – handy for additional sleeping space.
There’s a double bedroom on the ground floor, and two flights of stairs lead to a further five bedrooms set out over the first and second floor including a huge master bedroom complete with its own dressing room and en suite bathroom plus a further four bath or shower rooms.
None of the rooms disappoint and all are beautifully and lavishly styled.
Outside and across the garden from the main house is the games room (Wii, table football, TV) that doubles as additional sleeping space with a double sofa bed.
The private tree-lined drive sweeps down to the side of the elegant house, which has formal gardens to the front.
To the side there’s a large terrace with enviable rural views across Coombe hay valley plus a large hot tub (seating 12); a great spot for enjoying a glass of fizz!
