! The only negative thing was that we hadn’t booked to stay longer!! Absolutely beautiful, location is perfect 25 minutes from Bath with a tesco express just down the road. We absolutely recommend and plan on returning next year for a longer stay. Hot tub was great and entire place was clean and welcoming 10/10!

The yurt had everything we need for our 3 night stay, parking was very easy & location was brilliant, only 20 mins from Bath & 20 minutes from Bristol - very convenient if you wanted to get taxis. And the hot tub topped it off for both of us, it was lovely coming back & soaking after a long day of walking & shopping! Thank you.

  • "Me and my partner really enjoyed staying in this lovely shepherd’s hut."

It was more spacious than I imagined it would be. The hot tub was great and easy to use. Our stay was during December so everything was covered in a blanket of snow. We managed to walk to the nearest pub, I think it was at least half an hour away. The kitchen was well stocked too. Beautiful scenery and surroundings, and very peaceful.

  • "Loved the shepherds hut!"

It had everything we needed plus lovely touches like the bottle of Prosecco and swing ball!!! (Included was: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, two bath towels, two hand towels, a few flannels, hand soap, two robes, two pairs of slippers, washing up liquid / sponge, various pots & utensils, teas inc herbal, coffee, sachets of other drinks, sugar, crockery, glassware & cutlery, fan, blankets, hair dryer, ice, milk) The only issues we had were that the mattress was too soft for us and we weren’t particular impressed with the hot tub.

  • "We have complained regarding this and the problem was dealt with by sykes cottages so you should have our feedback."

Basically we found it cold including the shower, unless you had the wood burning stove on. No instructions for the cooker, hot tub, microwave, only one chair, table too small for two people to eat around. Not really a sofa but a bench so couldnt as described snuggle up and watch a film especially as tv in bedroom. Location behind business units. Luckily we had our camping chairs which i would suggest any visitors take with them

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to read that your stay wasn't satisfactory. Our onsite team tried to help where they could and even helped you locate the instructions after you couldn't find them in the property. We do hope to receive you again in the future so we have the opportunity improve your opinion, kind regards the owners Property Owner
