    “The owner was absolutely lovely.”

    Even put a big box of toys in the cottage for my little grandson to play with. The bottle of wine, cereals, chocolates, bread etc were very appreciated. Our grandson loved the jam very much. We hope to come back.

The open plan living accommodation includes a beamed vaulted ceiling, well-equipped kitchen, dining area and a sumptuous sitting area with warming open fire, perfect for those chilly evenings.

Outside this Hinton cottage is a small front patio with furniture, perfect for enjoying a refreshing drink whilst taking in the peace and tranquillity of the area and the busy life of the quaint duck pond!

The pretty village of Hinton boasts an excellent village pub serving good food and real ales, whilst the nearby village of Pucklechurch offers a wider range of amenities including a bakery, village store and Post Office.

Many unspoilt villages are within easy reach including Lacock and Castle Coombe, as is The Cotswold Way for walking enthusiasts, many National Trust properties, Westonbirt Arboretum and Clarence House, while Bristol and Bath are a short drive.

The pretty village of Hinton lies in idyllic south Gloucestershire countryside, and boasts a traditional village pub serving excellent food and real ale. Many lovely walks and cycle routes can be enjoyed from the village, with the Cotswold Way and Monarch's Way running close by. Nearby, Dyrham Park, owned by the National Trust, offers 270 acres of ancient parkland, with breathtaking views, landscaped gardens, a beautiful 17th century mansion, tea room and historic herd of fallow deer. Also close by, the thriving village of Pucklechurch boasts a Grade I listed church, bakery, village store and post office. Badminton House and estate, home of the famous horse trials, is just a short drive away, as is the World Heritage city of Bath, offering something for everyone including stunning Georgian architecture, music festivals, Roman baths, unique shops, restaurants and the Thermae Bath Spa, Britain's only natural spa where you can indulge yourself under a starlit sky. The city of Bristol has a large number of museums featuring outstanding collections of art and archaeology, geology and natural history. Step on board the world's first great ocean liner, Brunel's SS Great Britain, in Bristol's historic Harbourside. An easy drive takes you to the picturesque village of Castle Coombe, well known for its car racing track, and the quaint National Trust village of Lacock, used in the filming of the BBC serial Cranford. Malmesbury, with its 12th century Benedictine Abbey, The Cotswold Water Park, Westonbirt Arboretum and the Royal Forest of Dean all make a lovely day out.
