  • "Everything about the Hen House was lovely."

It was clean and comfortable. Situated on a farm it was peaceful yet not too remote. It was nice to be woken by the mooing cows in the morning and the lovely fresh eggs from the chickens was a thoughtful surprise.

Hello Jayne. Thank you for the review. So glad to read you enjoyed your stay. I hope the mooing wasn’t to early for you on your holiday?! You can’t stay on our chicken farm without fresh organic eggs for breakfast! Hope to meet again some time. Martin. Property Owner

  • "Another lovely stay on Nables Farm in the very comfortable Hen House 2."

The owners are charming hosts and the product on offer here has been impressive. Upper Seagry is a very convenient location for exploring the Bath and Bradford on Avon area as well as the Southern Cotswolds. Waitrose at nearby Malmesbury is a mere 10 minutes away by car!

Thank you Phillip and Benny for another glowing review. We love it when guests become friends - I would like to take credit for the fact you have now moved to the area however I think the local scenery and points of interest probably did that as appose to my rather unusual sense of humour. That said, I look forward to sharing a drink with you soon once you are settled in your new home. Martin Property Owner

  • "This was our second stay in Hen House 2 and we enjoyed the property once again - extremely modern and well-fitted accommodation with very impressive appliances in the kitchen - the Range Cooker with large Induction Hob was a pleasure to cook on!"

We were there in December when it was cold weather… but Hen House 2 has lovely underfloor heating so we were toasty warm all the time. Martin and Andrew are the perfect hosts. A bonus for us was being able to see a little bit of the Farm and the animals. We plan on returning.

Thanks for the review chaps. It’s always a pleasure having you stay. Look forward to seeing you again soon. Property Owner

  • "We had considerable difficulty finding the property."

This was overcome by asking in the village. There was a simple direction: “Take the road that runs down at the side of the pub, continue for approximately three quarters of mile then turn right.” We met other guests who had a similar problem. Martin was very helpful when we experienced a couple of problems. The bungalow was excellent, very comfortable.

Hello Mr Almond - Thank you for your feedback. We're really pleased you found the property comfortable and to your liking. I shall ask Sykes to look again at the directions to make it easier for people to find us in the depths of the countryside. Hopefully we will have to opportunity of meeting again if you are ever planning a return visit to Wiltshire. Martin & Andrew Property Owner

  • "My wife and I spent a week in the Hen House and had a very relaxing stay."

The accommodation, which has only recently been built, is of an extremely high standard and the owner, Martin, is very friendly and clearly wants all his guests to enjoy their stay as much as possible. We found the property very quiet, even though it's located on a working farm and well positioned for local amenities and to explore the many attractions of Wiltshire. The outdoor seating area is particularly lovely.

The place was spotless and furnished beautifully, pictures do not do it justice. The host Martin was brilliant, he accommodated any requests very quickly and was very helpful throughout our stay. The location is fantastic as you have good links to the motorway and things to do nearby. I will be returning and I have already recommended this place to family and friends.
