  • “We loved our stay.”

We are from Wiltshire but moved away, so used the cottage as a base to have a holiday to visit family and friends. It’s a beautiful place. The house is really spacious, comfy and good value- it is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. We enjoyed meeting Ruby the farm dog and our little girl loved feeding the ducks everyday! As well as walking up to the fields to see the sheep. It’s in a great location as you are close to Melksham (Starbucks :) ) but it still feels like you are on ...

The house is really spacious, comfy and good value- it is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. We enjoyed meeting Ruby the farm dog and our little girl loved feeding the ducks everyday! As well as walking up to the fields to see the sheep. It’s in a great location as you are close to Melksham (Starbucks :) ) but it still feels like you are on holiday. We hope to return once or twice a year, however when our twin babies get older it would be tricky with the pond. I think even a picket fence or something around the front area with the picnic bench would work really well? Thanks for a great stay- we will be back!
