“A lovely quiet setting.”

A well maintained property which the owners take great pride in providing everything the visitor might require. Having viewed the property on Google Earth before visiting we were concerned about the closeness of industrial units. We need not have worried. Although the buildings are close they are hidden by vegetation and an opaque window and as a result you are not aware of their existence and they created no noise.

No WiFi / phone signal in the cottage but it's great to get away from things sometimes. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the welcome pack was a lovely added extra. Will definitely book through Sykes again.

The accommodation was outstanding with plenty of parking and outdoor space. Would definitely recommend to a friend. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing that I would like to be different was if the towels were changed mid week, although there was a washing machine.

We had a warm reception by the owners Liz and Tom who showed us round the cottage. The cottage was about 15 mins drive from Stratford in a quiet countryside location. The cottage was really clean and very well equipped. The gardens around the cottage provided a tranquil place to sit. Internet reception was poor in the area of Mickleton.

“Very nice cottage close to Stratford upon Avon.”

We chose this area with the aim of visiting National Trust Properties of which there are many. Some are just on the cottages doorstep. The cottage was very comfortable indeed. One of the highlights was the many different birds that came to say hello. We have never seen so many varieties. Our favourite was the robin. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

This beautifully-presented cottage, attached to the owners' home, is surrounded by tranquil gardens and unspoilt Warwickshire countryside.

Situated on a smallholding, this cottage near Mickleton has been thoughtfully decorated, and originally a dairy, it now provides delightful, comfortable holiday accommodation for friends and family wishing to spend time together in a rural location, enjoying the many nearby attractions.

This Warwickshire cottage is light and bright, and offers two lovely bedrooms, a cosy sitting room with doors to the south-facing patio area, and a very well-equipped kitchen with dining area.

Guests can sit outside with a book on the pretty patio, or enjoy the large lawn with furniture and barbecue, ideal for alfresco dining on warm evenings.

Just two miles away is the Black and White village of Mickleton, boasting a good range of amenities with its village shop, Post Office, farm shops and two traditional pubs.

Within easy reach are fantastic walks, with the infamous Meon Hill just north of the village, possessing a gruesome history and believed to have inspired Tolkien in his fantastical writings.
