• "What a loverly stay we had, it lived up to all expectations."

  A great welcome pack ready for a very cozy stay with a nice open fire. Very well equipped, just a stunning property that anyone will be able to totally relax in. From the doves in the dovecot to the wild birds visiting the feeders and hearing the woodpeckers. Great walks close by . Visit The Plough Pub at Ford***** Fishing on site and fly fishing T chipping norton at Salford Trout Lakes . A superb venue and stay, we will return without a doubt. Thank you so much Rob and Julie

• "This was our second time staying in this property, and once again we found it to be everything that we and our dogs needed and had a lovely week."

  We particularly like the snug lounge with the open fire, a perfect place to relax. The owners were very welcoming and provided a lovely welcome hamper of delicious bread and preserve and coffee, and were on hand in the adjacent property if we'd have had any problems (which we didn't!) or needed extra firewood, etc. We will very likely be back for a third time....

• "It's a lovely cottage, spotless, warm, tastefully decorated."

  It has a private garden and access to other land. Good for a dog. Good kitchen with everything you would need. Bathroom / shower / wc is downstairs. It's ideally situated for Cotswolds towns and villages. There are also local walks available. There isn't a shop or pub in the village but all facilities are nearby in Moreton in Marsh. You get a warm welcome from the property owners who live nearby, but allow all the privacy that you want. I have recommended this cottage to friends already.

• "The cottage is very cosy and is in a very nice quite area with plenty of local walks."

  We had a lovely welcome hamper when we arrived which was a nice touch. To cottage is clean and has everything you need. We really had a lovely stay and feel we'll rested. My only minor issues which wasn't worth mentioning is the shrubs at the front of the cottage needs cutting back. We used to back mainly so it wasn't an issue. Also the toilet takes about 30 minutes to fill up and with 4 of us living there is sometimes was an issue. But these are very minor and just for the owners attention really. I would highly recommend the cottage.

  Many thanks for your feedback and pleased you enjoyed your holiday. The garden shrubs have been badly affected by the rain that we have all had and perhaps lent over the path a little. We will check out the toilet cistern and rectify as necessary, always best to point out such things during your stay so that it can be remedied as quickly as possible. • "A really wonderful cottage full of character and warmth."

  Home from home. Welcome basket was outstanding, home made bread, cake, half a dozen eggs, marmalade, and coffee in small pots ,milk and bottle of wine. Heating was excellent which was needed in July.! Information booklet was most informative as were all the pamphlets and booklets on the area. The owner came and met us on arrival and again came as we left and we had an interesting conversation.

  Really comfortable and homely little cottage with lots of character. Lovely doggy walks or if you prefer, walk without a dog. Fully enclosed and safe garden for your dog.

• "Our second visit to Hadcroft cottage with our three dogs and this time for a week rather than a couple of days which allowed us to explore the beautiful surrounding area."

  We love this cottage -well thought out, clean and comfortable and the welcome basket was so lovely with Prosecco to mark our return visit! We would love to visit again and again! The only improvement we would like to see is some more comfortable outdoor seating so that we could enjoy the garden a bit more in the lovely weather !

• "A beautifully set out cottage, eveything is provided for a comfortable stay."

• "Lovely property in a lovely location, cottage was spotlessly clean, and kitchen was extremely well equipped, cottage was very hot at times but was able to turn the radiators down so was not a problem."

  Beds were lovely and comfortable but the 2 singles were very small for adults, but comfortable anyways.

  Thank you for your kind feedback and pleased you had an enjoyable stay. We were away ourselves prior to your arrival and left instructions for our normally very efficient housekeeper to make 'Elm' bedroom into a twin which has bigger beds. However, 'Ash' was made into a twin. Apologies for this and hope it was not too inconvenient for you. We would love to welcome you back to Hadcroft Cottage at some time in the future.   It was a really cosy home from home with lots of thoughtful bits included. It was designed for you to actually cook in and we played many of the board games provided and enjoyed a beautiful fire. • "We had a lovely week at this delightful cottage."

  The welcome pack was a lovely surprise, and we enjoyed eating, and drinking the contents. The attention to details, such as the information on the walks straight out of the cottage door was much appreciated. We were lucky with the weather and our 2 dogs had a wonderful sniffy time following the said walks. The cottage itself was well equipped, and very comfortable, great location as well. I will be coming back with some friends in the future.

  Our hearing dog in training Kit trhoughley enjoyed his week long holiday. The kitchen equipment was the best we have ever had in a cottage. As we love to cook, the peaceful surroundings we’re amazing. We revisited old and new villages. Rob & Julie we’re amazing hosts but really kept themselves to themselves, but we’re there if you needed them. Highly recommend this cottage

• "What a fantastic cottage."

  Location is excellent to see so much of the Cotswolds and the owners have thought of everything. Dogs were truly welcomed, an amazing basket of treats for humans and canines, and lovely touches throughout the cottage. Comfy beds, beautiful fireplace, a well equipped kitchen with surprising extras, and all very private and quiet. We couldn’t fault it. Staying in many cottages, it’s the best we have had for attention to detail and we will definitely return.

  The cottage is in a lovely quite position & is equipped with everything you need on a stay, the hamlet is near all the beautiful places everyone wishes to visit. The standout things that make Hadcroft cottage are the quite setting a lovely cottage in a peaceful location & well equipped, we had lots of things planned but found ourselves sitting in the garden relaxing. • "The cottage was everything we would want."

  Immaculately clean, and all practical things provided for. It is traditionally furnished, very homely and little things to make one smile around the interior.The information booklet gave all the necessary practical information but also directions and maps for beautiful local walks. Rob and Julie were really nice. Although they live next door they were not intrusive, but we knew if they needed anything they were there. Aston Magna is ideally placed near many beautiful Cotswold towns but is a gorgeous quiet little village. It was ideal for our dog too. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you Rob and Julie.

• "The most idyllic cottage straight out of "The Holiday"!"

  Lovely peaceful location in a sleepy village with delightful fishing lakes at the bottom of the garden for a morning dog stroll. The cottage had everything you could wish for with a wonderful open fireplace for chilly evenings - and is very well-equipped for cooking. A basket of things - both practical and thoughtful - to welcome us was a bonus. Very dog friendly with a great enclosed garden - and lots of walks on the doorstep - as well as dog bowls, towel and treats! A great base for exploring The Cotswolds...

• "We have just returned from a fantastic week in this stunning cottage with our 3 dogs, who are very tired from a fun week."

  The cottage is beautiful, exceptionally clean and always warm and cosy. Everything you need is in the cottage, it's like home from home. The beds are super comfy and super big. The open fire perfect for cold evenings. The welcome basket was a real surprise filled with lots of goodies and the home made cake went down a treat. The owners Rob and Julie are so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The location is perfect for dog walkers with walks on your doorstep. The whole area is super dog friendly if you take your furry friends. The town of Morton in Marsh is beautiful with a lovely array of shops. All in all this cottage comes highly recommended if you are looking for peace and quiet in a lovely rural retreat. We can't wait to return.

• "Perfect cottage for Christmas."

  Everything provided for by the owners - lots of extra thoughtful touches. We cooked full Christmas dinner and all the equipment we needed was there including crockery, roasting pans, saucepans etc etc. The cottage was fully decorated including a real tree and we had a lovely welcome pack. Dogs also provided with toys, towel and dishes. Location gorgeous - beautiful rural countryside. Lots a places to visit nearby. Parking for 2 cars off road. Highly recommend

• "The best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in."

  Lovely woodland adjoining the garden. Each time we entered a room we discovered some new item of interest which we had not spotted before. Lovely comfortable beds. Relaxing atmosphere.

• "A lovely little cottage in a quite location,the cleanliness was perfect."

  Everything that anyone could need is at hand.the welcome pack was a lovely surprise,all the small pretty villages are nearby so there is no need to travel far for a nice day out and a spot of lunch.there are some nice walks if you take your furry friend with you and the pubs all accept dogs.we had a nice chat with the owners who told us to give them a call if we needed anything because they only live next door.so all in all a good place to go if you want a relaxing holiday with some interesting places to visit.we will go back soon.

• "This is a wonderful private cottage surrounded by trees and birds with a beautiful garden."

  There was a lovely welcome pack both for us and the dogs! Very well equipped, very pleasant owners, lots to see in the local area. The only thing I would have wished for was a 3 seater sofa to lounge on! Will definitely be returning maybe in the Autumn when can make use of the fire and see the changing trees. • "Amazing holidays!"

  We very much enjoyed our break, and the cottage met all our expectations. The cottage was charming, with attention to detail, creating an atmosphere of warmth particularly helped by the Christmas decorations. It’s located in a very quiet area, well linked to key touristic spots of the Cotswolds. The owners were extremely helpful and made our stay very easy. We even got a lovely basket with delicious local treats! Can’t wait to come back!

• "A very comfortable and well appointed cottage."

  It’s located in a quiet and peaceful setting with a lovely garden in which to enjoy the wildlife. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Situated close to numerous excellent walks and with several pub restaurants within walking distance.

• "We had a very relaxing and cosy time."

  The cottage and garden were a bit smaller than the photos suggested but that’s the art of photography! We were only 2 adults so it was fine and we were able to take 3 dogs, 1 large, 1 medium large and one medium which was fantastic as a lot of places won’t take 3 dogs. The owners lived next-door and were helpful but not in anyway obtrusive. Lots of information in the cottage about walks and pubs etc. So many books, DVDs (inc the Holiday!) and games. Also short and longer walks around the cottage so really you wouldn’t need to leave the house so long as you had enough food! Welcome basket too which was very welcome. Lovely Victoria sponge cake.

• "We had two weeks at Hadcroft Cottage for an early Christmas break with my elderly Mother and thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

  This is the epitome of a classic, cozy country cottage, and the the Christmas decorations and welcome hamper added significantly to the experience. Nothing here is forgotten, from DVD's, to CD's, Books, Games, Jig Saw puzzles. I am sure this cottage is great all year round, but near Christmas it is to die for. The cottage is also very well situated. A quick trip to Moreton in Marsh railway station gives a 35 minute ride to Worcester or Oxford, with no worrying about parking in the cities. Everything else in the North Cotswolds is a few minutes drive away. The highlight of our trip was visiting the wonderful theatre at Cheltenham, and seeing the Buddy Holly Story - just fabulous. We want to thank Rob & Julie for their kindness and service. A truly magical stay in a magical cottage in a magical area!!

• "Having traveled the world, and just recently adopted a dog It was time to discover what great delights England could offer Hadcroft Cottage is cozy, charming, and bursting with character."

  It's central to several quaint villages and plenty of public footpaths to explore with your four legged furry friends. Rob and Julie (Owners) are major dog lovers themselves, and made Theo (my dog) and myself feel very welcome. Along with an excellent welcome basket.......The property also has a wide selection of books, DVDs, board games which helps pass the time in the evenings. Really enjoyed my time at the property, and I would highly recommended it to anybody.

• "Everything about our holiday was wonderful."

  We were lucky enough to have sunshine all the time we were there. The welcome, by the owner, was really friendly but not intrusive. Loved the fact they also had dogs and our cottage and garden were completely separate and our garden very well dog-proofed. The sponge cake was scrumpcious and there was also a well-stocked welcome basket with a very nice wine and home made bread and other welcome additions! Equipment in the cottage and the furniture was of a very high standard. We lit the fire on the first evening although the cottage was very warm from the central heating. It was just so lovely to eat dinner at the table in the kitchen diner and see the fire burning through the door to the lounge and play games by the fire later. We really enjoyed the walks and there was an excellent information pack about walks, pubs and restaurants and those we tried were great. We knew the cotswolds well before our visit but now we know it even better and our doggies enjoyed a real holiday adventure.

  Rob and Julie, the owners, are lovely people and rescued dog lovers like us so we got on very well. The cottage was beautifully situated with some lovely walks from the door step. • "Absolutely smashing cottage in a lovely location."

  Beautiful private garden which our two dogs enjoyed enormously. The owners, Rob and Julie were delightful and the Victoria sponge which was in the generous welcome basked was amazing.   The house was lovely and warm on arrival, with a thoughtful and very useful welcome pack . The facilities were excellent with every possible need catered for, beds were comfortable, the lounge boasted a log fire if needed and the kitchen extremely well equipped . Outside was peaceful , the garden and wood relaxing, with a wealth of birds to enjoy, about their Spring activities, a woodpecker visited the apple tree in the garden most days . The soft cooing of doves in the background was pleasant and very soothing. The position of the cottage in relation to surrounding places of interest was very convenient and we didn't have to travel far before we found ourselves in the middle of beautiful Cotswold scenery and villages . The owners visited initially to ensure all was well and were on hand to answer any queries which might arise and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hadcroft Cottage to future guests. • "This is such a beautiful cottage, we really enjoyed our stay."

  It has a really cosy living room, our bed was super comfy, the kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the gorgeous garden was very secure so our two dogs could run around safely. The owners are very obviously animal lovers. The interior decoration is really well done and there are lots of books, games and dvds to choose from. We have rented many cottages and this is by far one of the best. Highly recommended.

• "This was a beautiful holiday cottage set in a lovely quiet village and very central to lots of quaint Cotswold villages."

  We’ve visited the Cotswolds on a number of occasions and feel after our week at Hadcroft that we know the surrounding area very well indeed. The cottage was so well equipped we wanted for nothing (oh apart from a potato peeler so we bought one and left it for future visitors to use!) It was so lovely and cosy and the fire was beautiful each night. The owners had decorated it for Christmas too so that was a lovely touch. The rain didn’t bother us as there were so many DVD’s and books to borrow so it was nice just to bunk down for the afternoon with a glass of wine and a good film. Would highly recommend a holiday here and have in fact already suggested it to a friend who has never visited the Cotswolds before. We can’t wait for our next visit!

  It's a complete unit, warm, open fire, good sleeping / bedrooms, lovely, comfortable and spacious. Everything i wanted was supplied. The owners are very accommodating and friendly.\ \ \ I spent a fabulous few days with my daughter here and arrived to welcome pack of fresh milk, eggs, bread, flapjacks, tea and coffee. How lovely and thoughtful and welcoming! We felt very much at hime here, everything at Hadcroft was first class. There are fabulous walks and the bird life and all the little extras are perfect. Will highly recommend Hadcroft!
