The Bee House and the Hive are adjoining cottages, and the Hive is the holiday let, and is situated outside the village of Bosbury.
The cottage sleeps two people, and we have a no smoking policy(inside) and no pets.
When entering the cottage, there is a hall with a... When entering the cottage, there is a hall with a cupboard for coats, shoes etc, and there is a downstairs cloakroom.
You then enter the spacious lounge, that has two comfortable sofas and a chair, there is a smart TV, complete with Netflix and wifi, there is a selection of books and games for you to enjoy.
There are French doors on to a private patio area.
The kitchen leads off the lounge, and has a stable door, that goes on to the paved patio with furniture, the kitchen is very well equipped, and has a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and fridge with a small freezer, along with a dining area to eat.
Upstairs, the upper hall, has a hanging cupboard and large mirror, so a mini dressing area.
The bedroom has a king-size bed, dressing table, drawers and cupboards for storage, along with another smart TV, there are beautiful views across the countryside.
Across the hall, is a spacious tiled bathroom, with a large walk-in shower, basin and toilet.
Upstairs has sloping ceilings.
Brochures are in the cottage of places to visit, and you will be spoilt for choice!
The cottage is furnished to very high standard, and well equipped for our guests, all linen including towels are included, electricity and oil central heating is also included.
There is ample parking outside the cottage on a private drive, and a garage to store bikes, should you want to bring them.
The Hive is 5 miles from the picturesque market town of ledbury, which is steeped in history, Ledbury has Tesco, Co-op, Spar, and Aldi, plus numerous other shops of interest, there are many local pubs, restaurant’s and coffee shops, catering from simple to more exotic foods such as Italian, Indian, and the likes.
Ledbury has a hospital (including A&E), train station and small theatre/ cinema.
Malvern is 8 miles away, and has a swimming pool, theatre, and cinema, and the famous Three Counties showground, which hosts many events throughout the year, including the annual Three Counties Show in June, there is also a retail park at Malvern link, that has a very good M&S, Next and Boots, waitrose is in the centre of Great Malvern with a large car park.
Other towns near by, include Worcester, Hereford and Tewksbury, which are approximately 18 miles away, Cheltenham 30; Gloucester 23; the Cotswolds are 39; and Stratford upon Avon 41 miles, there are several national trust properties that can be visited, easily in a day.
There are excellent walks, both locally from the cottage and we’re just a few miles from the Malvern hills and Eastnor Castle, all being accessible for easy parking and walks, Upton upon Severn, is 4 miles on from Malvern.
Further a field are the historic towns of Ross on Wye, and Monmouth, both steeped in history, there are local golf courses, and Bosbury has a village tennis court for hire, or you can just relax in the garden, and enjoy views from the cottage, with a cuppa, glass of wine, and a good book!.
For those who enjoy gardening, there are many garden centres, all within a twenty-mile radius and all having restaurants for tea, coffee and lunch.
