“The Cottage was a superb place to stay for a family get-together.”

As we were coming from 5 different locations it was great to have easy parking for all of us right nearby. The Cottage itself was very clean and comfortable, our family includes 8 adults and 2 infants and we did not feel cramped. All the bedrooms are roomy too. We noticed that a previous reviewer commented about the ensuite toilet being in a cupboard - it is true to say that they have made the best use of a very small space but it is still an extra toilet... The main bathroom upstairs was beautiful and very large and the downstairs wet room was also very good. Another reviewer had mentioned there were not enough saucepans for their large group. I brought a few extra pans just in case but this had been rectified and I did not need to use the ones I brought. The owner was very helpful and and when I inquired about bringing a high chair and travel cot she provided them for us so they are are now available at the property. Location of the property is excellent. Just a short wander into town to pick up extra supplies from the Co-Op if needed, Wotton-under-Edge is a very nice town to look around. We tried out the local cinema which was great (approx 100m from the house) and a nice tearoom on the main street. There are a few national trust properties nearby that are worth a visit and enjoyed some very muddy walks! It was nice to come back to to a warm house and we could leave all our muddy boots in the garage. This is a much longer review than I would normally leave but I hope it will give you an idea of what this property is like. We stayed for a week and the weather was very mixed with some rain most days but we found plenty to do and had a lovely time.
