    However it turns out that the connection piggy-backs off the neighbouring property and the mains network-extender failed to work for any of the two weeks. Even if the extender worked, sharing a single connection for 2 families would still make it too slow to use. ...

Even if the extender worked, sharing a single connection for 2 families would still make it too slow to use. There was no BBQ and no cleaning products. The vacuum cleaner provided doesn't pick up anything and is frustrating to use. Missing crockery. Mattresses were tired and sagging. No facilities for drying clothes, only a tiny airer suitable for 1 person. Stunning views, beautiful walks nearby. Shower pressure and temperature good.

The property

A lovely, semi-detached character barn conversion located close to the bustling riverside town of Ross-on-Wye.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this cottage offers many lovely walks and cycle rides from the doorstep across beautiful Herefordshire countryside and is ideal for a family or group of friends looking to explore this delightful area.

The cottage boasts many original features with with original wall and ceiling beams and exposed stone walls.

The ground floor has a large sitting room with dining area ideal for catching up with friends over dinner which can be prepared in the well-equipped kitchen next door.

Make your way upstairs to three lovely bedrooms, the front two offering long distance views of the surrounding countryside.

Outside guests can relax in the front garden, enjoy alfresco dining on a summer's evening or take a short drive to Ross-on-Wye and try out one of the many lovely pubs and restaurants in the town.
