A dog-friendly, detached wooden lodge located on a rural farm in the north of the Cotswolds, Rookery Farm Cabin is only 4.3 miles by car from the picturesque village of Broadway.
Surrounded by mature trees and lush landscaping, with a pond just a stone’s throw away, it’s an ideal location for some quality rest and relaxation.
Inside is an open-plan layout dining and living area, with a slouchy sofa and woodburning stove – a cosy place to curl up with a good book – plus a compact kitchen with all the mod cons.
Just off the kitchen is a handy cloakroom with basin and WC.
Sleeping up to 3 guests, you get a well-proportioned king-size double bedroom with an en-suite walk-in shower room and a smaller bedroom with a single bed and its own in-built storage.
As the en-suite is the only bathroom with bathing facilities, guests will have to share.
Outside is a covered porch/entryway overlooking a well-manicured, unsecured pond.
As an added bonus, there is a small utility room off the porch housing a washer dryer and a place to store wet boots and other bits and bobs.
To the rear of the lodge is a generously-sized wooden deck, secured with a short fence and gate.
Approximately half a mile away is Broadway Tower, a historic folly by famed landscape designer Capability Brown.
Also of note is the close proximity of the Cotswold Way National Trail, which takes you on a scenic stroll straight to the Broadway high street in one direction or Chipping Campden in the other.
