“April cottage was lovely and situated so near to the main road and shops and places to eat.”

We were concerned about parking as this was described as 'being opposite the cottage under the archway' when in fact it was down the road opposite, under the archway and left turn into public carpark where there was an allocated space and garage. You cannot see the car park from the cottage. We were concerned about parking as this was described as 'being opposite the cottage under the archway' when in fact it was down the road opposite, under the archway and left turn into public carpark where there was an allocated space and garage. You cannot see the car park from the cottage. My husband is disabled and has a scooter which dismantles to fit in car so this added to problems but we managed to fit it in front room at cottage to avoid him walking to and from car park. in spite of this we would certainly go to April cottage again.

Thank you for your feedback, I am pleased you had an enjoyable stay. Regarding the car parking, I'm sorry you did not find it as convenient as you had hoped, it is as described in the listing 'directly opposite the cottage under the archway' which is a walk of around 150m from the door of the cottage to the allocated garage and parking space which are in the public car park opposite. I am pleased the car park cannot be seen from the cottage as this would detract from the setting of the row of cottages which April Cottage forms part. You can also load and unload on the road outside the cottage whenever you wish to so the scooter could have been unloaded and loaded into the car as required. Again, apologies if you found the parking difficult but thank you for your comments. We look forward to seeing you again hopefully. - Sykes owner relations
