• "Such a lovely cottage in a superb peaceful location within a few minutes walk of the shops, bubs and restaurants."

• "We had such a good holiday in the cottage perfect location no car needed once we arrived."

  It was very quiet and comfortable. Having the double gates before getting out made us confident our dog was safe in the lovely walled garden. There was everything we needed and it was easy to find great places to walk, eat and shop. The local information provided was very useful . A really good find we have already decided to return as also perfect also for a weekend break.

• "What a wonderful place Blundell‘s Cottage was to stay for a week."

  We loved it so much, we didn’t want to leave. It had everything you could possibly need and was situated in a perfect location, on a very quiet, picturesque Cotswold stone street. All amenities were within walking distance, including great local pubs, a supermarket, shops and access to the public footpath to Broadway Tower which was almost directly across the road. Thank you very much, we would love to come back in the not too distant future!

• "Great location, lovely house."

  The only thing that stopped me rating 5 stars was all the cobwebs, especially in the downstairs loo. Otherwise the house was perfect for a family of four and our French bulldog. Broadway is a beautiful village with so much to see and do. The house was warm and cosy. We will be returning!

• "Blundell's Cottage is the perfect place to stay in Broadway."

  It's very conveniently located but in a quiet, relaxing area. There is everything you need in the cottage and it is very comfortable, bed included which is must in our view! Parking can be a problem in Broadway but there is a designated parking spot for Blundell's Cottage just a short walk away. There is nothing negative to say and we would certainly recommend it.

• "A wonderful stay in the Cotswalds."

  The weather was great and we did enjoy the walking though the climb to Broadway Tower was hot work! Blundells is .much more than a Cottage. It's situation is quiet. We loved eating in the garden. Beds were so comfortable .Restaurants and pubs provided three good meals but mostly we enjoyed eating in. Trips to other Cotswold villages were enjoyed and above all we were thrilled to have two UK relations to stay as our guests for three days with us their Canadian family. Thank you for such a good English country holiday!

• "This is a lovely cottage - quiet and away from the main street, but close enough to enjoy everything Broadway has to offer."

  It was clean and comfortable, with a very pleasant garden for sitting out. My only comment, as a disabled person, I found the garden steps a challenge - perhaps a handrail?

• "A well equipped cottage with private parking nearby and easy access to Broadway village centre & local walks."

  If you're arriving late bring provisions as the welcome pack is very, very basic ! The shower cubicle is tiny by the way as is the TV in the lounge. Nice garden for sitting out in the warmer weather although plastic flowers in hanging baskets are a definite no no ! All in all an enjoyable stay with the aforementioned reservations.

• "Delightful cottage in one of the quietest prettiest spots on the High Street - easy walking distance to good restaurants and pubs."

  Very warm and comfortable inside, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. Also very well equipped with everything provided to make your stay enjoyable. The courtyard garden is a delight - sat in the summer house on a sunny afternoon even though it was February! And you can see Broadway Tower from the landing window! The private parking space is a huge plus as well. We had a wonderful week to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we would love to stay here again when we return to our favourite place to visit.

• "We love Blundell’s."

  Would recommend, especially for couples as there’s a log fire we really enjoy using, although the central heating is quite sufficient. It has a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, lots of hot water and great WiFi. The location is great, peaceful and ideal for a walk into town. Owner is great and quick to respond if needed. We are looking forward to returning at the end of the year.

• "We’ve stayed in Broadway before - it’s a lovely village and the walk up to Broadway Tower is a nice one."

  Very handy location for driving around the other Cotswolds villages. The cottage is ideally located off the Main Street a short walk to parking bay and the village centre. Secure garden for the dog and would be a nice place to sit with great privacy in better weather. The only gripe we have is that the cottage is a bit ‘tired’, in the bathroom & loo in particular ( yes tired, not ‘shabby chic’) and the standard of cleaning could have been much better - dirty kitchen worktops, mouldy shower cubicle (which was very small), cooker hood switches very greasy, fridge unclean, downstairs loo dirty etc - lest there be any doubt we do have pictures of all this. If this was attended to, we would not hesitate to recommend. But as previous owners & operators of self catering cottages ourselves, we did expect a better standard.

• "We have just returned from relaxing stay at Blundell's Cottage in Broadway."

  I cannot fault the cottage at all, it had all the facailities we needed and provided a wondeful base for exploring the Cotswolds. The cottage is appointed to a very high standard and it was easy to find - the garden was particularly nice and a real sun trap in the evening. It is just a five minute walk into the village where there are a number of good pubs and cafes. We enjoyed walking from the cottage into the beatiful countryside and there was plenty for us to do all week. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay.

• "Excellent property in a great location."

  Dog friendly garden. Useful to have the parking space a short walk from the house. Some great walks starting right from the doorstep. Broadway itself is full of pubs (dog friendly), cafes and shops, making it a great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Would highly recommend Blundell’s Cottage for a stay. My only comment would be that we’d have preferred an earlier official check in time (I’ve never known one that late), BUT we did call the housekeeper around 3pm who said that it was clean and ready and we could have access early. This was much appreciated.

• "Property was exactly as described - well equipped (lots of kitchen equipment which is unusual - some self catering accommodation is sparsely equipped which doesn’t aid cooking), house/garden dog friendly and in a fantastic location just a few mins walk to the centre of Broadway and to the footpaths for walking."

  Welcome gift was a nice touch too. We had a great 5 day break - enjoyed all of what Broadway has to offer, recommend pre-booking pubs/restaurants for dinner as they get busy.

• "The cottage was in a great position in the village."

• "Lovely house in a quiet but convenient part of Broadway."

  Internet was very good for the Cotswolds, kitchen was well equipped, the lounge was tastefully decorated, there was a fantastic log burner and the beds were comfortable. An added touch that I’ve never experienced before were blackout blinds in the two bedrooms. Great for me as the light has woken me up in most of the properties I’ve ever stayed at. Sad to leave and hopefully will return one day soon. Many thanks to Jo, the housekeeper and Roy the owner.

• "The off road parking was not at the property but 5 minutes walk away."

  This should be stated, as I have real mobility problems and my partner had to fetch the car, and pick me up and drop me off. Also the stairs are very steep, with a sharp bend at the top. Although rails were provided I had to almost go on my hands and knees to get round. That also needs highlighting. The property is well provided and the owner Roy very nice and helpful.

• "This cottage was perfect for our family."

  The interior was beautifully laid out, and just perfect for our weekend away. We had dreadful weather whilst there, but it didn’t put a damper on our weekend, the open fire made it lovely and cosy and when the sun did come out we had a BBQ one da and afternoon tea in the beautifully set-out garden the next, even managed to get into the little summer house to read for an hour or two. It was spotlessly clean and had all the home comforts anyone would desire, including loads of DVDs and interesting books on loan. Thank you, we will definitely be back to this lovely part of Broadway, much prettier and quieter than the main high street.

• "Really difficult to find - we were right first time but couldn't find any sign saying Blundells Cottage so ended up going back to the car parking space and all the way down the High street and then calling the mobile number given."

  Jo gave us directions so we were able to find it, but not before we'd spent half an hour (min) looking - with my 85 year old mother in tow!
