  • "Not sure who is at fault for this but the property is advertised as detached on your website when it clearly isn't."

It's semi-detached, as is clear from the estate agents listing for the property adjoining it, as its up for sale. This is very misleading, I particularly looked for a detached property and chose this one on that basis.

  • "Churchend Cottage is a highlight for excellent relaxation."

The cottage from the 17th century is very cozy and lovingly furnished. We didn't miss any comfort and slept excellently. We enjoyed breakfast in the private garden behind the house in the morning sun and watched the sunset in the front yard. Rarely have we been greeted so extensively with homemade cakes and not only felt immediately at home but also very welcome!

  • "My son and I had a great week at this beautiful cottage."

The attention to detail was appreciated, cake and chocolates, fresh flowers, milk and fruit juice in the fridge. The quiet location was lovely with the view of the horses in the field opposite, the occasional hen, sparrows nesting and newly hatched ducklings! The wood burner was a treat as it was a bit chilly in the evenings. The beds were very comfortable too. It was a good base for meeting up with family nearby and plenty of places to visit.

Very peacefull area well away from the rat race set in beautiful countryside. The owner layed on some very nice little touches such as cake, beer, sweets and fresh flowers. The log burning stove made it just perfect. Highly recommended!

  • "We absolutely loved this cottage - we felt like we were in the movie, The Holiday!"

The village was so quiet and peaceful. The place was really well equipped and spotless. When we had a couple of issues (eg the fire alarm bleeping because it needed a new battery) Christine was really quick to come round and sort things out. There were some lovely touches that we really appreciated - little jars of chocolate in the bedroom, homemake cake on arrival plus some drinks in the fridge. We also really liked that we had bathrobes to use and an amazing powerful shower. Would defiantly recommend a stay in this beautiful cottage if you want a completely cosy and quiet break in the countryside!

  • "Everything about our stay in this beautiful cottage was wonderful."

I didn’t want to leave! Christine is such a kind and generous host, and made our stay very special. From placing vases of fresh flowers around the cottage prior to our arrival, to baking home made treats - it is evident the amount of thoughtfulness that went into this rental. When our taxi didn’t show up and we were worried we would miss our train, Christine even offered to drive us to the train station! If I could give this rental a 10 star rating I would!

  • "The house and setting was absolutely beautiful."

It was very clean with a real home from home feel. The owner, Chris was so welcoming and we didn't want for anything. The nice little touches, I.e. homemade cake, chocolates, magazines, beer etc made it extra special. We went for 4 days but wish we had booked longer. We visited quite a few plac es whilst there including Stratford upon Avon, Stow on wold Bourton on water etc and went for bike rides round the local country lanes. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. What a lovely break we had. Thanks again Christine for everything

  • "Loved my stay at Church End Cottage."

We had booked to stay over the Christmas period. The owner had kindly contacted me ahead of the trip to check on my arrival time and to have the log burner lit and the heating and lights on to help find the property easily in the dark. She had also provided a range of welcome gifts from freshly baked cup cakes and jam tarts to a bottle or two of bubbly and some beers. Even more, she had wrapped a handful of small gifts and placed them under the lovely Christmas tree. Delightful little touches. The kitchen is excellent and well equipped and was a match for making Christmas dinner with everything that you needed on hand. Fab bathroom too with a roll top bath to die for (the owner even left muscle soak and toiletries if you wanted to use them). Great powerful shower and lashings of hot water. Many hours spent in front of the log burner with satellite TV/radio if you wanted it, wifi for internet browsing and a small music system to plug your phone into. The owner lives next door and is on hand if you need her. Their chickens roam the garden, which is quite charming and fun. They seemed to like me a lot sitting outside the kitchen window whenever I was there. Easy access to Tewkesbury and Malvern Hills for walks and plenty of places to visit to eat out if you wish to with lots of pub choices and restaurants in local towns such as Ledbury. Cottage makes a great base for a stay in the area.
